|8 hours 2 min ago||I wasn't complaining||
In fact, I like this silent Dantonio better. I'd prefer it if I never had to listen to him again.
|8 hours 45 min ago||My snowflake||
Two months ago this team was hard to watch. The last two weeks have been must see TV. I hope DJ and Moe come back. I hope MAAR and X step up to replace Walton's leadership.

|15 hours 3 min ago||Surprising?||
That's putting it mildly. I was shayok'd to see his name.

From Marquette, 6'6" JR SG. I say we take him just for the eyebrows.

The NTSB reported a post flight inspection found the right elevator geared tab inboard pushrod linkage damaged which restricted movement of the right elevator surface but allowed movement of the control tab.
In other words, the flapper-thingy on the tail got stuck?

He had a six inch tumor. I think Beilein recruiting/development gets a pass for Doyle.

And we don't have the salt excuse or the dramatic seasonal temperature change excuse.
|2 days 15 hours ago||As someone with German heritage||
the thought of Nowitzki and Wagner playing for Germany is music to my ears. (Sorry, after all of Raftery's bad puns, I had to.)
|2 days 16 hours ago||3PT%||
Burke went 0.348 and 0.384 from three in his two years. Walton is 0.399 in his career and 0.419 this season. So Walton is going to make 1 extra three pointer for every ~30 shots they put up. I don't think that's enough of an advantage to make a difference.
The problem is, they are both competing against the 6'6" Lonzo Ball type PGs that have better court vision, akin to the NFL drafting that 6' 6" QB to see over the line.
Will the NBA view Walton as a system PG? How much of his success will they attribute to being a Beilein product?

My mistake, the Big 10 has won 5 and tied 2 in the previous 7 years. The ACC hadn't won the challenge since 2008 before winning in 2016.
|2 days 17 hours ago||Hoke||
and 5-7 was even worse. He maybe could have survived going 7-6 in his third year if he had a winning record in his 4th year and he hadn't screwed up the concussion-gate thing and been so closely associated with Brandon.
|2 days 18 hours ago||ACC vs Big 10||
I wonder how much of the perception that the ACC was better than the Big 10 was influenced by the ACC-Big10 challenge in November. The ACC won that in seemingly dominant fashion, 9 games to 5, but if 2 two point games go the other way, it's a 7-7 tie. And if Michigan beats VT (we lost by 3,) the Big 10 would have won the challenge for the 8th year in a row. Which begs the question, which conference really is the better conference?

I'm pretty sure I saw those custom potato message people on Shark Tank. Makes sense they would send one to one of Cuban's players. It's basically the pet rock of this age, at least that's what they are hoping for.
|3 days 16 hours ago||UCLA||
I've watched some of their Pac12 tourney games and their first round game. They didn't look like the same team that beat us in December. I couldn't figure out why until I watched the UCLA-Cincy game. Ike Anigbogu was a big part of that December game. Even though he only scored 6 points, he had 4 rebounds and 4 blocks and played 25 minutes. That's his season high in minutes.
Their defense is really bad. At least Ike gives them another inside presence. Alford gets attacked on the regular. He's like their Donnal on defense (a flashing sign saying 'attack me,') only he plays major minutes. Welsh and Leaf are like Wagner and Wilson on defense. They don't have the physical presence you need. Ball is incredible on offense, but he seems to play D like he's waiting to get back on offense.
I did pick UCLA to win it all because of that whole, "guards win in March" line of thinking and UCLA has four guards that score 12-16 ppg. The tournament could be Ball's coming out party to the rest of the nation (the folks that don't pay attention to college hoops except during March Madness.) His court vision is incredible, and the way he just nonchalantly jacks 25 foot threes is something to see.

Bolivian Zebras have no shame. Put it away, put it away.

|4 days 14 hours ago||Guards win in March||
Mason III reminds me of Minnesota Mason. Walton is better. Tum Tum can't shoot.
|4 days 14 hours ago||Kansas||
Is playing very sloppy. A disciplined, fundamental, good shooting team should be able to beat them.
|4 days 19 hours ago||refs||
what bothered me about the refs in the first half is that the calls on Michigan were 'and-1' type calls, giving Louisville a chance for a three point play, whereas calls on Louisville were 'on the floor' type calls that prevented Michigan baskets.
I also don't care for the quick whistle whenever they get to the under 16/12/8/4 minute TV timeout period. I'd instruct my guys to take it to the basket whenever those situations occur. The refs are dying to blow a whistle to accommodate TV. It's patently obvious and it lends one to see NCAA basketball as nothing more than professional wrestling.
|5 days 11 hours ago||SOS||
SOS is another criteria. Minnesota's was 20. Wisconsin's was 80. Going by the committee's criteria, the seeds made sense. Going by common sense, the seeds were idiotic.
|6 days 8 hours ago||Miami||
They were horrible. How did they manage to go 10-8 in the ACC, the world's greatest basketball conference, or so I'm told, over and over again?
|6 days 11 hours ago||Same here||
I suppose this is what a 10-7 game looks like. I heard WSU was under seeded. I'm not seeing it.
|6 days 14 hours ago||yeah, but||
our guys are getting mugged every time they try to post up. It's like the refs aren't watching any of the off-the-ball action.
|6 days 15 hours ago||Post defense||
Their post defense is basically equivalent to giving a bear hug. I can't believe that doesn't get called when so much ticky tack stuff got called early in the game.
|6 days 17 hours ago||Wow||
we got outrebounded 40-21 by a team that shot 54.7/43.8/87.5% and we won the game. Amazing. If we have a decent 3PT%, we lose by 10 points. Crazy game.
|6 days 18 hours ago||Go blue||
That was not a 10-7 game. OMG, what a game!

Peters vs. Sessa is going to be the QB controversy going into the fall?
Sessa is 6' 8". I suppose we should expect to see him at TE before too long.
