MGoRadio 2.3: Use Your Delusion

84 minutes

20160923_174305

This was recorded (and broadcast) before a live retail audience at Moe Sport Shops on North University. Come by every Friday before a game to partake. For Homecoming we’re going to do it at the new Bo Store!

Special guests this week: Steve Lorenz (@TremendousUM) of 247, Reid McCarthy from Ann Arbor Elder Law, and Brett Thiessen, aka The Mathlete.

--------------------

A big thanks to our sponsors. The show is presented by UGP & Moe's and frankly would not be happening without them; Rishi and company have been on board here from almost the beginning. Shopping with them helps us and supports good dudes. Check out the new Bo Store on Main.

Our other sponsors are also key in the expanding empire: thanks to Homesure Lending, Ann Arbor Elder Law, Liz Crowe, the Residence Inn Ann Arbor Downtown, the University of Michigan Alumni Association, Michigan Law Grad, Defensive Drivers Group, and Tailgater Concierge, who’s throwing us a tailgate next week before Wisconsin at 1300 S. Main (across the street from the stadium) to benefit Marlin Jackson’s Fight for Life Foundation.

1. Upon Further Review Recap

Props to Colorado’s nose tackle and Sefo Liufao. Michigan’s corners have been good robots.

2. Across the Crooked Blue Line, with Steve Lorenz

Trying to make sense of Oliver’s recruitment. Jordan got his Michigan offer but package deals don’t usually come through. Najee Harris expected to take an official—Michigan at least making Alabama work.

3. Gimmicky Top Five: Penn State Delusions

Penn State grad and husband Reid McCarthy joins us for the goofy things that Penn State people think. Or wrote about today.

4. Penn State Preview with the Mathlete

Mathlete is in town and joins us to talk about how important punt plays are, and previewing Penn State.

MUSIC:

“No Time for Dreaming”—Charles Bradley
“I Have to Be Crazy”—Sturgill Simpson
“Crazy”—Booker T. Jones
“Across 110th Street”

I put  a new version up. There are still some weird transitions left, and steve still cut out for a few seconds at one point,  but i think I fixed most of the issues.

I have not heard those two words together since Fonzie and Happy Days. No, the show Happy Days not the real happy days. Back when we ate shrooms and drank whiskey on Fri. nights after the football  game in the woods. When my" buddies" and I thought we were indestructable and went out to prove it every weekend.
