SEASON PREVIEWIN'

OFFENSE (2:00)

QB: Still Speight by a nose, which means it's a tie. Good either way.
RB: A rougher, tougher unit. Peppers & Smith in a "Spread H" would be nifty
FB: Hit your targets!
WR: Chesson and Darboh then a big gap.
TE: BUTT!!! and a pile of good things
OL: Seniors at their ceilings. Cole to C is good but LT?

DEFENSE (54:57)

DE: Ridiculous athleticism, extraordinary strength, and yes, some Wormley.
DT: Step into the maw.
LB: Highly recruited, somewhat experienced seniors is a special kind of biggest concern
Peppers and Lewis: Pretty good.
Other DBs: Seniors. Also pretty good.

SPECIAL TEAMS (1:32:11)

Gonna miss you Baxter

MUSIC

"Bombs Over Baghdad" – Outkast (a preview tradition)
"Jumpman" – Future and Drake
"Starman" – David Bowie
"Across 110th Street"

you are going to miss the coach that cost us the msu game? not instructing your punter what to do in  that situation is coaching malpratice. 93rd in punt success rate. a couple of horrific roughing the punter penalities, a punt return for a td and the debacle against msu. that was enough for me.

But overall, punting was the only special teams category in which Michigan didn't produce decent efficiency numbers. That made O'Neill the most replaceable piece, and now he will be replaced.

It's looking like there is a very real chance Bredeson may start at LT this year....top 50 recruit making a splash if true based on Tim Drevno presser comments today, where he raves about him at LT and suggesting it's a and/or with him and Newsome.

Michigan was ten points away from losing 5 games in the season. The Minnesota game could have gone either way and Indiana was rolling over our defense. As you guys pointed out in the podcast, it seems that Florida was already checked out during the bowl game. Granted I know the hype train has left the station with Harbaugh's 2nd season coupled with a boat load of returning starters. However, if Michigan had lost five games last year, what concerns would you have had going into the 2016 season? Would they have really been the same concerns you guys pointed out in the podcast?

I think Chris Evans may get more run at KOR than RB/Spread-H. Peppers is keeping PR duties but I'd rather not see starters, especially ones we cannot afford to lose, like Chesson, Lewis or Peppers on KOR duty. Evans seems like a guy who could be huge for us on ST and then once in a while add in some offensive touches as well.
