MGoPodcast 7.1: Beckman Memorial Podcast
1 hour 26 minutes
[Bryan Fuller]
OFFENSE
Welp. Hopefully Loluteleileileilei is just that good; otherwise maybe not so much. Rudock dissected.
DEFENSE
Pretty good, pretty much where they left off. Second corner not targeted much, so that's good. Run defense stiff, Bolden replaced, Wormley rampant.
SPECIAL TEAMS AND MISC
Neither depressing nor immediately impactful.
TALKIN' BIG TEN WITH JAMIEMAC
Our Tim Beckman Memorial Podcast section, with special WTF Bobby Petrino asides. Extensive discussion of Rutgers-Norfolk State.
MUSIC
"Across 110th Street"
"Short Skirt Long Jacket," CAKE
"The Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzgerald," Gordon Lightfoot
"Fighting In A Sack," The Shins

The thing that is a little scary, unless Marshall brings something different. I don't think Ojemudia is going to be supplanted by RJS. Ojemudia had his troubles with pass rush and tackling issues, but he also at least made some plays in the run game, and I think is still the best option edge defender. I think RJS would just give you less discipline without adding anything. I think James Ross as a starter helps cover up some of this stuff, but we shall see.

+1 for "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald." I remember learning about that ship in 5th grade or thereabouts (and our teacher played the song).

Anytime you can combine CAKE and Gordon Lightfoot, you're thinking outside the box.

Ace is like Ed McMahon to Brian's Johnny Carson, only better.
(Kinda-sorta serious ... the interplay is well done on these podcasts. I really enjoy them.)
