The FIRST thing that comes to mind for me wrt soccer is the advertising in huge letters across the front of the jerseys.

I mean, yeah, that exists, and can be rough. However, most MLS money comes from tickets sold and not TV revenue, so the in-game experience is much more important to teams. I haven't listened yet, but recent MLS history is all about welcoming and supporting crazy fans, and minimizing piped-in noise/mascot stuff to let the actual game and crowd chants/songs to provide the atmosphere.

Jim Harbaugh's wife spills secret: He wears $8 khaki pants from Walmart:
The problem for Sarah seems to be that as soon as she throws them out, Jim goes out and buys more and apparently, he'll only buy them at one place, "It's not just any store, you have to find them at a Walmart," Sarah Harbaugh said. "I threw them out and when he went to the combine, he found a Walmart. [The Pants] were $8. Eight dollars!" The fact that Harbaugh wears $8 pants raises a lot of questions...

At least Taylor Swift is easier to look at than Morrissey.

What do you mean Pioneer doesn't have a good history of making football players? Both Jim and John Harbaugh went there. Probably the only time there will be a Super Bowl where both coaches went to the same high school. Here is a refresher for you: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pioneer_High_School_%28Ann_Arbor,_Michigan…

Having begun to re-read "Bo's Lasting Lessons", I wonder what, if anything, Brandon learned from Bo. Bo even mentions Brandon in the book. I wonder how well Bo knew Brandon.

Brian, thanks for asking Ace to cool it with the Pioneer stuff. He's almost got me wanting The Drake to fail now.

What happened to "Across 110th street"?

Just curious..I have known Mary since I was 13 and working in the Union...My mom was her supervisor WAY back in the day when she was a switchboard operator at what was considered the front desk.
So cool to see her impact with some of the current and recent players.

Parents who love music want to expose their children to the joy of these beautiful sounds as soon as possible. Introducing children to music as soon as possible is ideal for general personal growth and personal development.
