That is an awesome picture of both 98's. Will have to listen to the podcast at home later.
MGoPodcast 5.2: There Go The Irish
An hour on the nose.
unknown origin, but from @mspeedkills
We're impressed. Impressed with Borges, and Gardner, and Gallon. Maybe not so much with the ground game, but we'll deal.
Bending but not breaking, no pass rush, but fundamentally the strategy worked.
Gibbons puts it through the uprights. HANG ON TO THE DAMN BALL will have to make a return.
TALKING BIG TEN WITH JAMIEMAC
Less Big Tennnnnn this week with a couple of notable exceptions: MSU and Purdue. MSU games are now only enjoyable for Michigan fans, and Purdue… man. The rest of the league perked up, and Northwestern is rolling.
"Across 110th Street."

Credit for putting together the uncanny photo comparo goes to @trUFERblue on The Victors board:
As he posted: "794 games and nearly 73 years apart, with no player having worn that jersey in between those two shots. (as an aside, according to the Bentley Library's roster database, Harmon is the only other player to have *ever* worn 98 for Michigan)"
Truely. It is almost inresistable to watch Spartans unable to move the chain.
For full photo credits, I found the Harmon pic posted in an old comments thread here, but living on the Bentley Library's server. The Gardner photo is from annarbor.com's game day gallery.
Awesome finds on the pic! If anyone can get permission, a poster needs to be made!!
THERE WAS NO GEORGE CAMPBELL REFERENCE! ACE YOU HAVE BETRAYED ME
who kept farting during that
I saw the Dallas Cowboys run the same play on Sunday night, with Dwayne Harris (a WR) in the Gallon role. So I'm not sure how novel it is... but in any case, a great play call by Borges.
