MICHIGAN STATE

Hooray threes, hooray Stauskas. GRIII rather absent. LOTS OF REF BITCHING. Lots of yummy Izzo tears of unfathomable sadness. Lots of open threes. Clutch execution down the stretch.

IOWA

Michigan played their game. Hooray Stauskas. Hooray Spike. Anger. The tiny West Virginian implanted in John Beilein's brain. Seriously.

TALKING BIG TEN WITH JAMIEMAC

We were in a weird studio that was not the other studio so it sounded a little odd. Northwestern is fascinating! Seriously. The league's down relative to last year. The Bryce-Jordan Center is so, so depressing.

I agree with Brian and Ace about feeling confident when we kept hanging around against MSU.  As the game unfolded, it felt like we were being dominated, and yet every time I looked at the score it was close.  By the time it was 60-60, I felt like we were going to pull it out.  We just weren't going away.

In close games, it feels like Beilein's teams win a good percentage of the time, not just this year but in general in his tenure.  We just keep on executing down the stretch, while our opponents eventually make that critical turnover or dumb foul.  (Arizona was an exception, but they're also the #1 team in the country.)  Our guys keep a cool head under pressure.  It's awesome to watch.
