MGoPodcast 2.3: Barns Are Burning
Site note: UFR is going to be late today, say five-ish. OT, yo.
You will get your podcasts erratic-style and you will like it.
This week's excuse about last week is that Tim was in State College and we now have a restricted window in which to get these done. This week we talk about whatever happened last weekend and the road ahead, with a little bit of talk about Penn State thrown in mostly to get our hairshirting done. Jamiemac of Just Cover stops by to talk about the Big Ten schedule coming up, albeit without the benefit of lines, and I ask Tim if he's a Buddhist. The EXCITING ANSWER lies within.

multicolored spiders in the castles of anarchy
If you Google "multicolored spiders in the castles of anarchy" this post is the first link. I'd call that a win.
Right now only see the 10/21 podcast in itunes and not the one from today.
It takes a little while for iTunes to update. It should be up there by this time tomorrow.
I can't believe I'm excited to read a Defensive UFR after 65 points. Freshmen DB's on 3rd and 1 FTW!
Hail to the colors that float in the light-
Hurrah for the Yellow and Blue!
You think Tim's the most patient fan? I will battle him head to head if I ever get fired up enough over this travesty.
Listening to this, it sounds like I've been pronouncing Taylor Lewan's name incorrectly. Anybody know definitively?
Does it rhyme with "Shoe-in" or "The Wand?"
"True loyalty is that quality of service that grows under adversity and expands in defeat. Any street urchin can shout applause in victory, but it takes character to stand fast in defeat. One is noise - the other, loyalty." -Fielding Yost
If it's true that Demens wasn't playing b/c he came late to meetings, then I support that decision by the coaches.
Just like the coaches made Tate the 3rd string QB at the beginning of the year (even though it is clear that he is the 2nd best QB on this roster) to prove a point about working hard off the field, the coaches were right to prove a point by not playing Demens.
How are you supposed to promote a team-first mentality if you allow certain players to get away with not following rules; that doesn't exactly send the best message to the young players. Plus, Demens is probably a better player now because of this; he had to be pushed to mature (thing Arrington and running the stadium stairs).
Seems that this will be a trend with RR. If you don't give 110%, you don't play. Should produce a better team in the long run, especially when there is talented depth, but when your depth chart is as bad as Michigan's is on the defensive side of the ball, it's really frustrating as a fan.
I feel your pain, but if you only enforce your rules or stick to your principals when it is easy, then you really don't have any rules or principals. That would be kind of like, oh, I don't know, MSU?

Is there a way to get the podcast to download via the blackberry podcast app? I tried inputting the "general podcast feed link" in, but that doesn't work. Any help is appreciated, as the bberry podcast app is actually nice.
"They're stuck with that quarterback (sophomore Braxton Miller) for the next two or three years, that's fine with me. He throws worse than (Tim) Tebow. - Steve Everitt
