MGoPodcast 2.0: Summer Mumblings

We made a podcast over the weekend covering the latest in recruiting, both with players coming in and not making it, the spring game, the team this fall, and some extremely cheery basketball conversation. Significantly less apathetic slurring in this one than the podcasts towards the end of last season, but equal levels of disorganization.

BONUS disorganization: sometimes when you update things to keep current they break the hacky bits you've downloaded and inserted in order to get big files properly updated and then you grumble and fix it, causing things to be late.

Yeah, that was depressing. And a fitting finish after hearing about the lack of big name recruits we're in on, and the lack of confidence in just a couple of positions like QB, RB, Safety, and questionable development on the O-Line.

Have a great weekend everybody!

The MMB NEEDS to play that song during a game (or all games) this coming season. This is not a "hey they should maybe do that," this is an issue of dire importance. That would be so awesome to hear. I will lose it if we start pumping out the Michigan Replay theme in the 3rd/4th quarter, while winning, in a big game (which will hopefully be every big home game, of course).

Mike Williams is the 'worst scholarship' football player ever at Michigan?

Really?

We want to say this when the guy has 2 years remaining at Michigan?

Taking a quick stroll through prior commit lists, i can see at least 35 players i would deem worse scholarship footballers than Williams (WIll Paul, Keston Cheatham, Marques Walton, Eugene Germany, Johnny freaking Sears, Jason Kates).

And how in the world can we call Williams worse than Boubacar Cissoko?

Thanks Brian and Tim for putting this podcast together. It reminds us all that football season is near, and it is a great elixir for early summer blues. Keep up the great work.
