Hockey picks up commit born in 2004

Submitted by Wolverine Devotee on

Connor Levis commits to Michigan. He was born in October 2004.

We are all old. He is in the 2022 recruiting class.

St. George's School Bantam(BC) '04 F Connor Levis has committed to Michigan. Levis is an October '04 bdate, so he won't turn 14 for another eight months.

I've been feeling super old ever since we started picking up commits who are younger than I am (I was born in '96 btw). Having a dude whos 8 years younger than me committed doesnt help though.

Was born in October 2004. We went to a high school information night tonight. We're thinking about 9th grade, not college. Sheesh.

I've worked with high schoolers a good bit so a rising 9th grader committing to a college always seems wild to me - though I know this is how the hockey recruiting world works. You just change and grow so much each year in high school

Tonight I will be watching my high school junior (born in 2001) play a high school hockey game. On Sunday I will be watching my 8th grader (born in 2001) play a hockey game. Still waiting on the phone call from Mel though.

In the future could you just say " Hockey picks up 13 yr old commit " if your posting on a Friday.

I don't want to have to think and do math anymore this week.
