Zettel update from ESPN

Zettel's comments post Iowa City visit:

"Michigan has been my leader through the whole [recruiting process]," Zettel said. "I still feel really comfortable there, but I wouldn't say I have a leader right now."

Not cool Zeus.

It looks like we get the last shot at him at The Big Chill, hopefully we can bring him home...

I'd say Zettel is the most important recruit we can realistically land. If we're talking best recruit that has Michigan listed that would have to be Jernigan or Ha-ha...We better not miss out on Zettel. If we can't land the guys we're supposed to land pretty soon your gonna see us bring in a a new staff that can close the deal.

will be needed next week.  I think recruiting is crucial in December and regardless of the bowl game, we need to hear something decisive about our coaching staff as soon as possible whether it is an endorsement of the head coach and/or the dismissal of the DC.  If there are to be no changes, then get that communicated as soon as possible after Saturday.

The ways these kids talk, it gets confusing. I think Zettel has made some vague comments about not having a leader before, and then following it up with UM still being on top.

Give me a break. Are you MEEECHigan or NOT.     I'd get my education at UM over any "school".  Go Blue !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AND this is the last time a player gets to choose where he plays for quite some time. I mean, Zettel could choose Michigan (poop for weather) and then get drafted by Buffalo.

I agree--let the kid take his time, and if he chooses to go somwhere like Florida or Texas, then that's his thing.

But if he DOES choose someplace other than Michigan, and said place has poop for weather, I'll beat him up.

They can go where ever they want, but I'm only paying for Michigan.  If they go to OSU (I know, why?, but my one daughter would do it just to spite me) I have told them they are not allowed back home (and I was only about 1/2 serious).

probably just impressed watching the defense in Iowa.  Still don't seeing him passing up the chance to go Blue,  when he witnesses 113,000 fans for the Big Chill.

but we really need this kid.  I'm pretty happy that RR seems to be going after a few more local kids then in the past. I know everyone hates when people say that...but I would feel much better if there were more kids on the team that grew up hating OSU and MSU
