Yuri Wright "amazed" by his ND visit

Per Steve Wiltfong (http://twitter.com/swiltfong247):

"The nation's top-ranked CB Yuri Wright tells me he was 'amazed' by his Notre Dame official visit."

Let us hope that we can see that amazement and raise it on Yuri's visit to A^2. ND has a nasty habit of upping the ante, amazing athletes and snagging them away. Should we be worried?

This only means something if the normal MO for recruits is to be lukewarm about every visit except the visit at the school where they eventually enroll.

I don't think that's true.  Top recruits are impressionable, media-savvy, and polite, which means when you ask them about a visit right after it happens, you're going to hear a positive reaction.  Even a not-so-great visit (like Colorado) will get a comment no more negative than  "If only it wasn't exams."

Generally speaking, recruits are amazed on their trips.

Also, isn't this the first trip since Colorado... where he openly admitted that he was underwhelmed?  All Notre Dame had to do was show him a better time than he felt he had in Boulder.

"Amazed" could mean a lot of things.  Yuri Wright was amazed at how homely the coeds were.  Yuri Wright was amazed at how lousy the football facilities were.  Yuri Wright was amazed at how quickly Brian Kelly's face turned bright purple when Yuri Wright didn't give his verbal commitment right away.

I knew a couple kids that played for Kelly at CMU and they said he could get a little psycho at times. I thought they were exaggerating...but I see now that they were telling the truth about old purple face.
