so much for that
YouTube problem (Response from ZEFR) EDIT: We're screwed. We're all screwed.
Could I watch on a like 42" TV or would it look terrible?
"They're stuck with that quarterback (sophomore Braxton Miller) for the next two or three years, that's fine with me. He throws worse than (Tim) Tebow. - Steve Everitt
Pandora requires a premium account for HD features, which in theory costs money, but the bugmenot extension will just log you in and bypass it without difficulty normally.
http://tvpot.daum.net/, another Korean host, will do 720p but has no english UI.
For Tudou, the HD is in Chinese right next to the volume control, if you go to Gangam Style:
http://www.tudou.com/programs/view/55QSNv_oOgg/?fr=rec2, wait for the ad and once the video starts and click on the two Chinese characters to the right of the volume control. Select the top two on the list that pops up and that will give you a taste of Tudou's HD.
If we had a planned move to an overseas source, I'd imagine we're a multilingual enough community we could support a guide on the UI of one of these sites.
Wow, this blows, I watch at least half (basically anything not on espn3) of michigan's basketball games on youtube via mgovideo and mgodisney. I'd gladly play BTN some amount of money to watch these games on their website, alas thats not exactly an option.
We all can take it for granted that every Michigan football game will be on TV now. Especially with BTN. I grew up in the 70s, and even living in Michigan, only a couple of games were on TV every year. I had to listen to Michigan football on the radio. Its staggering to think of it now given the current state of internet and satellite TV. My family moved from Niles to Los Angeles in 1976 and I think of how hard it was to see Michigan games until there was ESPN college football pay per view,

I've been out of touch for several weeks and just recently realiazed that ZEFR has blocked about a dozen of my (ridiculously one-sided) parkinggod highlight reels. I debated contacting ZEFR to ask f they could just add their ads (or whatever) and unblock them, because I've got a couple other highlight videos where that's being done. The reason I didn't ask is because I didn't want to bring attention to the other hundred-some highlight reels, Moving Picture Pages, etc., that I've done and risk having ALL of them blocked.
Based on the inconsistent behavior of ZEFR since WD's initial contact, I think I'm going to sit tight for a while longer.

Pandora.tv, a South Korean video website that has ties to Cyworld (and an English UI) is fairly reliable in America. It can sometimes take 20 seconds or so to buffer up the stream, but I've watched TV shows on it before. Example sports clip.
Tudou.com is completely DCMA proof as it is Chinese and they just laugh at that kind of stuff. The downside it is can be slow. That said, not terribly so, in that if I start a movie buffering, go to the kitchen and make snacks, and come back I have enough buffered to watch without interruption. That said tudou's 30 second load time and intro ads can be annoying when you just want to watch a minute or two of highlights.
