They were horrible. Send 'em back to Texas and tell Jerry Jones (part of the company that we were in bed with) to not let the door hit him too hard in the ass.
Hopefully David Brandon will pick up one of the local companies and not duplicate Bill Martin's poor decision to send the business out of the state.
That explains why they've been bombarding my inbox with sale offers the past couple of days... I really didn't think they were THAT bad. I hope the new shop is as accessable for those of us not living in Michigan...
They bombarded my inbox all year long. I had to mark them as spam I was so tired of it and I bought things for my kids from them.
have an online presence. For example:
Pretty sure Ulrich's is online, too. Easy in, Easy out.
I imagine Brandon bought him a couple of shirts and like everyone else they came in the wrong size, mispackaged, in the wrong shipping material, with a coffee stain and ripped. When he tried to call customer service he was redirected three times to an Indian call centre until finally in frustration he threw his phone which knocked his framed picture of he and Bo off the wall in his former Domino's office.

Can we just put it back to the Mden please? I cannot believe there is really a better choice than that. It's a local shop that's been around forever.
OH-HOW-I-HATE OHIO STATE
I did get a pretty sweet deal there last month. Got a football and hockey jersey for $20 a piece, a rain jacket for my gf for $35 and a 'mystery box' for $15. I was intrigued by it and it turned out to be an awesome deal. Basically it was items that had slight defects and couldn't be sold. In the end, from the mystery box I got 5 t-shirts, an M polo, a scarf, a wolverine foam head, a M tie, an M football and some Michigan beads. All the clothing just had stains that came out after one wash and nothing else had excessive defects. Excellent deal and I have been on the look out more mystery boxes since then.
place anybody should be going for Michigan paraFANalia.....

Bud was also a semi successful women's BB coach at U of M a long while back. But then I remember Dan Fife as a BB assistant too!

To the same guys who carry the MGoStore stuff.

I got a great deal on what I ordered (jerseys, shirts, hats, toys) and everything arrived no problem within about a week and a half. My only objection is the lack of selection on their merchandise. Is there something else about them that gets people so upset ?
Journal Entry - Day 782 of living amongst inbreds - Actually heard this today, "I don't see what the big deal is. All he was doin' was protectin' the players. What's wrong with that?"
Never liked the university giving the cold shoulder to the local brick and mortar, and I'd be willing to put money down on it going back to M-Den.
I've heard plenty of horror stories from there, but fortunately when I rolled the dice and ordered a nice collection of jerseys when they were dirst cheap, I actually got the goods. I still can't believe I bought like 5 jerseys of a variety of sports for the price of one. That was right before they pulled the M logoage too. Now I can use the money I would have spent buying all this stuff over the next many years to buy the stuff I'm missing because they were sold out during the sale!
"Good evening, and welcome to Michigan Stadium for this the one-hundred thirty-second season of Michigan football, and the thirty-ninth meeting between Michigan and Notre Dame." -Carl Grapentine, September 10, 2011
Alright, so I live in CT, and do not own too much UM apparel, but it's more than anyone in the town, and maybe even the state, since everyone out here are just plain haters.
I have only been to A2 once, and that was while touring UM during EMU Weekend, so I was wondering can someone explain this whole ordeal on not liking mgoblue shop as the vendor and such??
Thanks
The MGoBlue shop was run by a company out of Texas; the MDen (which used to be the official store) is a local company run out of Ann Arbor which only deals in Michigan goods.
I went to the one in Livonia once and they actually had a corner of MSU stuff...

by the local manager, rather than company ownership.
...the dog chew toy section?

Think of it like any sporting goods store... they primarily feature the local teams merch, but they always have a rack dedicated to everyone else. While it's a safe bet that more people prefer Michigan (or Michigan merchandise) to MSU, it's always a good idea to have some stuff on hand to appeal to whatever random MSU fan who might stop in. The stores in Ann Arbor don't have that problem... maybe 1 out of 10 people in Washtenaw County are State fans... but in the burbs, that split can get as low as 60/40. So it's just smart business.
Sorry for resurrecting such a random thread... I found it in a search and as a native Livonian who pretty much grew up at Laurel Park, I felt the need to defend my precious MDen location. It's by a Leo's Coney Island! And there's a Victoria's Secret! Bring the whole family!
