I'd have the Buffalo Wild Wings guy engage the sprinklers.
You Need a Tackle. Who you got?
Give me Countess, the kid proved he could tackle in open field last season, plus I think he has the ability to use his speed to force Toussaint to the sideline for additional help.
Lock the thread.
This is going to haunt my dreams tonight.
That's just lil' old Anna Watson, an UGA cheerleader who Yahoo! was trying to push as some kind of saint a few weeks ago. Supposedly she turned down a $75k fitness modelling contract because she refused to take an illegal steroid...
Personally, I have some oceanfront property in Colorado that I'd love to sell to the good folks at Yahoo! for a fabulous price!
Somebody had better check the pants on that "chick"
Based on the guy in the background's facial expression, I'm sort of glad I can't see below his shoulders.
to many options with the way Mattison is coaching these guys up, there might be a gang tackle at the 1/2 yard line that could kill a normal man.
Definitely Countess. I think Fitz's cut would wreak havoc on some of the other guys but Countess has agility/speed not to get completely burned by it
The guy is a tackling machine. I would count on him being able to get into a good position and then be physical enough to finish the tackle.
Probably Yuri Wright.
I mean definitely Yuri Wright.
Daydrion Taylor. I remember.
One of the biggest hits I've ever seen (though mind you I don't remember seeing it live, I was 6 at the time). Two careers were cut short in that single play.
Jesus. There were like 4 other guys who I thought would have made the tackle before him. He came out of nowhere.
Thats like a 10,000 fine and three concussions and four penalties now
I remember that like it was yesterday!! That hit hauted me for years. I was in high school at the time and I remember coming up on a guy like that playing Safety and it crossed my mind for a split second. I slowed down and I got trucked!! Not my finest moment!!
I picked Fitz instead of S. Hopkins or J. Gallon because I wanted a guy with some moves and some power.
Looks pretty split all over the board so far. I would tend to go with Magnus who had Gordon or Countess as some people have mentioned. I think in open spaces you need the quickness to stay with the guy.
In my quest to see more dime packages Magnus brought up the point of having Ryan on the field for tackling purposes and I didn't really think of that point because I think in the open field I would rather have a Safety or CB, but some CB's can be pretty bad at tackling so it is an interesting point to debate. I was more curious the positions people would pick over the player.
I'd still like to see Avery and Taylor on the field for Morgan and Campbell in long yardage situations. Move Roh inside and Ryan to DE and we're all set with pass rush and coverage, but maybe we sacrifice some tackling.
Thanks for your input.
If I can't have Kovacs...how about Hunwick?
KOVACS: Y U ON THE SIDELINES???
not even a guess. I think I saw this more than once last season
Pursuit to the ball? Outstanding.
one of the biggest plays of the season.
That closing speed blows my mind at the end of the play. It looks like the just the film over Jake Ryan is altered.
a2_electricboogaloo would make a spectacular open field tackle. It'd involve songs, dancing, and lights! Maybe even a laser show. We'll see how it works out...
It'd be amazing...
He would be about to make the tackle, commit to making it, then decommit, embarking upon on a vision quest for an unknown amount of time.
end of story if Kovacs is out.
Alex Karras was a 4-time All-Pro DT.
However, Mongo would easily be a 10x All Pro. That guy can hit and has a mean streak like none other.
In game of life......
If he was . . . end of discussion!
Ryan. The guy just makes plays.
That is all.
Well, I would hope Marvin Robinson is healthy enough and back on the field, and would blow up that play.
However, the spring game is a great chance for walk-ons to make some plays and enjoy some deserved time on the Big House turf, so I will put my trust in Charlie Zeller (who wears the Captain's #19) to make the tackle.
Marcus Ray, how has he not been mentioned yet?
When I started reading I thought it would be Kovacs obviously, but then you had to go and make things difficult.
I'd probably go with Jake Ryan or Countess. Both make plays and are pretty sure tacklers.
I just like Ryan to get it done.
That hit against Purdue is still one of the best Michigan memories I have.
That was so legit . . . he was out!
Ron Simpkins, the Hulk, the Thing, Wolverine....those guys would get the job done.
LOL. I've never heard of Jerod Irons. Is he related to Jarrett Ward?
An 800lb wolverine with a chainsaw for a penis.
It might just be me, but that seems like a genetic mutation that is not likely to be propogated.
Shaq..... Or Kimbo
Jake Ryan. Seems like a player.
Cause we need to see him in just that situation... Can't believe no one else has mention him yet..
