This one falls under the "everything good is bad for you" category of scientific studies or hide your women, hide your children when Denard plays. Researchers showed that just 9 (!) minutes of SpongeBob was enough to cause short term attention and learning problems in 4 year olds. Test subjects scored an average of 12 points lower in mental function tests due to the "fast paced" programming. The researchers did not see the same effect from "slower paced" programming such as Caillou (I don't know what that is but it sounds like a bowl full of suck).
If 9 minutes of SpongeBob is detrimental, that 4th quarter of the ND game had to create a nation of idiots. I know I was a blathering fool when that game ended who couldn't focus on anything. I suppose the lesson is to watch less Denard and more Indiana to maintain mental acuity. However, I might just take my chances with Denard.
