Per MGoBlue. Pretty cool. Hopefully Michigan can win this game, if not sweep the series.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The 13th-ranked University of Michigan ice hockey team will hold a rededication ceremony for the newly renovated Yost Ice Arena during the first intermission of Friday's (Nov. 16) contest vs. the seventh-ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

As part of the celebration, the program will welcome back nearly 80 former players spanning several different eras of U-M hockey. During the first intermission, there will be an on-ice ceremony to help commemorate the "official" reopening of the facility. A tribute video will also be played, which will honor the great traditions of Michigan hockey and its illustrious home. All fans in attendance will receive a commemorative game program, highlighting the history of Yost.

The renovations replaced the bleacher seats, created ADA accessible seating and added loge boxes. In addition, new premium seating opportunities were created and a new press box area was designed on the west side of the arena. The main concourse was upgraded with improved concessions and more points of sale. The facility also received new exterior windows, similar to the Glick Fieldhouse, and lighting to create a more inviting atmosphere, as well as an improved audio system.

The Wolverines will return to action on Thursday (Nov. 15) when they host the Irish in the first game of the two-game series. Both games are scheduled for 7:35 p.m. starts. A limited number of tickets are still available and can be purchased by visiting www.MGoBlue.com/tickets.

I hope Michigan shuns them in every sport. Hockey, soccer, baseball, softball etc. They want to take the easy way out and play teams in football who haven't owned them recently, that's fine.

I hope they enjoy that riveting new rivalry on the football field with duke, whilst getting blown out against NC on the hardwood.
