I hope this is true.

Does this mean it won't also be streamed live on mgoblue.com like it was last year?
Not a reason to not go to the game
You're on thin ice.
I really hope the game can pull a huge crowd; someday, I would like to see this game sell out. Large crowds at the spring game seem to help out with recruiting. They would also indicate a lot of mainstream enthusiasm toward the program.
Since I now have BTN down here, I will be looking forward to it.
Very under rated punctuation.
The convenience and warmth of a lazyboy < the Big House experience and the possiblity of sitting next to me.
I'm already at work and didn't bring a change of pants, so now I'll have to spill coffee on myself to cover up my "excitement spill". Thanks.
It will be strange to watch Gardner in HD without Explosions in the Sky.
for some reason, I don't get the BTN in HD. I think it's because of my building's contract with Comcast, as I am in Philly and the BTN does HD.
At least I can record it on the DVR and get cheered up during the long Summer off season.
Never been is it free?
Yes, it is free
...will be singing the national anthem.
This is kinda awesome. Great move by the BTN.
Now if they can only keep Mike Hall as far away from the microphone as possible, it's a win-win.
While we do our fair share of ripping the BTN announcers (and rightfully so), the actual network really has improved over the past year or so. I really liked their football four pack during the football season last year too.
Also, I think we'll beat last year's game attendance.
Is one selfish, if one only wants between 50,000-65,000 people. So that I!!! can sit 50 yard line again lol
...how the telecast will affect turnout for the game.
Now the rest of the big ten will see our secret weapon when Fitz is out there juking and running over, around, and through people.
I just upgraded my cable package and now get BTN. No more streaming for my ass.
this is great for me! Looks like im calling into work that day. Thank you BTN!
I went to the Spring game every year from 1998-2006. The first few were pretty fun because they had a game format. Sometimes the coaching staff even got creative. In 2000, they had Drew Henson and the offense start the game down 17-0 and they had 5 minutes to come back and win. The most memorable thing about that game was Hayden Epstein kicking a 60 yard field goal at the very end.
Once Henne and Hart arrived, the Spring games became a snooze and got more boring every year. There was no game, just a bunch of different practice scrimmages spread out over the field in 5 minute sets. Your attention could easily be distracted elsewhere and miss the rare noteworthy runs, throws or kicks going on on different parts of the field. But the players you really wanted to see were never there because they were always injured. I finally just stopped going.
Last year, however, with the new activities added (lockerroom tours and alumni football game) I decided to go with my dad and I really enjoyed it. I never got a chance to see the lockerrom - the line went all the way back to Crisler Arena - but I loved the alumni game.
I think UM wants to make this a bigger event than it used to be. Hopefully the attendance won't be affected by the Big Ten network being there.
Hope its nice and Gardner shines
Devin Gardner isn't on my list. Too many returning starters to name 'em all, but I can't wait to see DG.
My son and I are road tripping from Chicago - hope the weather's decent (anything but snow, rain and below 40 will be decent). We'll head to Blimpyburgers after the game, as I'm sure everyone else will. Psyched for some Meeeechigan football!
Surprised nobody commented on the picture; it gave me the chills.
Wish I didn't live far away and could make it to the game, but I'm thrilled I'll get to watch!
Spring can't get here soon enough!
