Yahoo Sports - Tate on front page
Just saw Tate was on the front of Yahoo Sports page with a link to a rivals article explaining the position battle for UofM QB. Nothing new to us but still good to see the winged helmet on the front page.

The crescendo continues to build...
At least they are talking about Michigan football on the field (as opposed to sanctions) and aren't talking about RR on the hot seat, how bad Michigan has been in the past two years. It's not positive media, but neutral media at least puts our name out there for people to see without any inherently negative connotations (It puts a lot of names out there, but the picture is of Tate. The other reason the picture is of Tate is because there are lot of Michigan fans but you get what I'm saying)

Or free safety? You know, we could have a real "safety controversy" this summer.
Eh. Whatever. Maybe all the sportswriters will get Tate and Denard to work their asses off, to win the job. But something tells me that Tate and Denard, and Devin Gardner, don't need sportswriters to do that. And that they probably don't care much what any of the sportswriters publish in any event.
Because the QB is sexy. It comes with the territory and its sometimes good and sometimes bad. True, when you might lose the QB job it gets hugely publicized, but the QB on successful teams is often way more praised than he should be (Iowa + Stanzi).
Are you saying that the image of a 310 lb pulling guard that is OMG Shirtless is not appealing to you nor sexy?
that is one of the sexiest sights a man/fan can see
This article was also on yahoo. If suggests that the Big Ten may overtake the SEC as the nations best conference this year. That would be nice to hear for a change.

Is there a Yahoo Sports jinx? Tate was on the cover of SI last year, and we all know how the rest of the season turned out. Just saying, that if Tate's arm falls off, at least we know who to blame.
