That's because they have Bama in the title game.  BCSGuru has Ok St in the title game, which I think makes our most likely matchup Fiesta vs Stanford or KSU (probably Stanford)

All these predictions, can't it be Sunday night already?  Not the most exciting match-up if we end up facing KSU but beggers can't be choosers.

couple of Kansas State games this year, I would feel pretty confident with that matchup.  Have not been impressed with K-State at all from what I have seen. Klein is pretty good running the ball, but their skill guys aren't that good, their passing game is poor and their defense has looked pretty mediocre in the games I have seen. Their stats, look like the stats of 6-6 team.

Let's not get cocky now. I think Kansas State is a worthy opponent and so would be TCU. We would be the favorites but you never know. Whoever it is, let's go in that game and play as if we were playing for a Championship. We have a statement to make.

Is anybody else just slightly nervous we might get buttraped by the bcs again this year? We are deserving but Michigan tends to get shit on by voters. I feel it in my bones that we will get a bid, but nervousness will linger til 8 o clock tomorow

No, Michigan does not get buttraped by the BCS and shit on by voters. Of course, as a Michigan Fan and alumni, I want Michigan to go to a BCS Bowl. And the reality of our alumni base almost dictates we will.

You want to know who gets screwed?

  1. Boise State
  2. Arkansas
  3. South Carolina
  • Arkansas loses only to LSU & Alabama, and is shut out.
  • South Carolina beat Clemson, but are doomed by their two losses.
  • Everyone hates Boise State, but man, they just win.

And also screwed, although harder to make a case for:

  1. Michigan State
  2. Georgia
  3. Baylor
  4. Virginia Tech

Those are seven decent teams who won't play in a BCS bowl. It is particularly a joke to me that Clemson and WVu, two teams each having three losses, are projected to play in the Orange Bowl.

So please don't whine about "Michigan always gets buttraped by the voters." Cause they don't.

We were selected over a 11-1 Kansas St that was a 36-33 Big 12 championship loss away from playing in the national championship game.  The attractiveness of our fanbase secured the Orange Bowl bid, and the unattractive KSU fanbase fell all the way to the Alamo Bowl.  (Which KSU lost to Purdue in a typical outcome for a "Disappointment Bowl".)

Looks like one of those fanbase dogs is getting in.

If UM is in the top-14 (and they should based on results from yesterday), then they are a lock to picked either 1st or 2nd as an At-Large depending on how the top of the rankings work out.  Personally, I'd rather play Stanford than KSU just because it is a bigger match-up and feels more traditional, but I'd take anyone this year just for the opportunity to add a BCS win to a really good first season under Hoke.

As a KSU grad, I am not sure I want this.  I can barely make it through a game alive, let alone if my two teams played each other.  Michigan should have the upper hand, but you can't count out Bill Snyder.  They will be prepared and they will do everything they can to slow the game down.  As long as someone gets a block on Arthur Brown (LB), UM should run all over them.
