prior to that. And he was injured a lot, good to see him back. On another note, I'm amazed at all the Woodson posts around here--I get that he was one of our best players ever, but it seems like he gets more pub than recruits or current players. Guess it's a mark of how appreciated he was.

I think the reason for all of the Woodson posts is reflected in the article. The versatility, the dominance at a critical position and the ability to change the way an entire offense approaches a defense. He did that and with the returns and receiving, more, for the only National Championship team we have had in decades.I have followed Michigan football for over thirty years and, along with Anthony Carter, he is one of the two best Michigan players I have seen.

An awesome story, befitting an awesome man. I don't know if I will ever enjoy watching another player wear the maize and blue more than I enjoyed watching him. He has indeed grown up over the past few years and he is now just as good a person as he is a talented football player.
