I've gotten sick of the M-Zones schtick of how RR supporters are idiots and how firing him is the only option.

I used to love them but now they are just too pissed off all the time and biased. I'd rather read the Freep

They're saying the jury is still out and its kinda stupid to say we should keep RR after one 67-65 win over a mediocre Illinois team that probably should have won. Also, (here comes the neg bang) they are correct that RR is the head coach and needs to take more responsibility for the defense. The whole operation is his, he can't escape responsibility by saying he doesn't pay attention to the defense... in fact, there is a strong argument that him skirting responsibility for those problems is a serious indictment of his ability as a head coach.

I still think that the majority of users on this site are suffering from Stockholm Syndrome when it comes to Rich Rodriguez.. Most people here just spit out shibboleths, attempting to paper over real discussion of whether RR is a good coach with catch phrases like "decimated defense" (this isn't referring to Misopogon himself who obviously added quite a bit to the discussion with his analysis) or "free press jihad" while ignoring Rodriguez's role in the problems we face. Quite a few users are also hell-bent on blaming Lloyd Carr for the current problems, which is the oldest trick in the book (e.g., blame the guy that was here before if anything goes wrong).

Anyway, I know bouje will probably flame out as a result of this post, but the puritanical, irrational bashing of anyone who would dare question Rodriguez's fitness as Michigan's coach following 3-9 and 5-7 campaigns is especially ironic when coming from such a generally educated fan base. There are idiots on both sides, but I don't think its crazy to argue that results matter.

I've seen worse videos, but I wrote it off when the guy started babbling about recruiting rankings. The same sort of guy is wondering why RichRod couldn't (wink, wink) turn Justin Schifano into an All-American O-lineman.

Certainly, yes, there are people who have blind faith in Rodriguez. It could be argued, though, that in your post you show blind faith in ... anti-Rodriguez.

Really, do you think it's *all* his fault? If not, where does he get a break? How would you score his responsibility on a scale of 0-100?

Aside: Exactly what is a puritanical bashing?

Sorry, but it says something when you have to set your arguments to "xtra normal" video to make anyone even listen to them. The anti-RR stuff is getting old.

Maybe we should wait all of three weeks to see how the rest of this season plays out before we throw RR under the bus anymore this season.

I'm surprised the animated android woman continued that conversation in the workplace. Unless she was just gathering evidence for the animated HR department for a rock-solid dismissal for cause. I would think that would be an excessive number of f-bombs, even in an animated workplace for androids.

I am not hating on the video - I actually found it funny and have no problem with it -BUT I posted a video 3 weeks ago no different from this at all and it got deleted in less than a minute plus I got 250 points deleted. Please explain this as i don't think it computes.

Was just a spoof on fair weather fans showing ignorant hatred towards Rich. Totally not serious in any way. Just made it to ease some tension and get a few laughs etc. So in a way I feel like this is showing a double standard.

...but that video is funny as hell. I literally laughed so hard I was in tears. Some times boards just take themselves too seriously and even then it depends on the mood of the day.

This was funny no matter your opinion of RR.
