Writer calls Michigan fans "Biggest Losers in America"

Submitted by dothepose on

Just another article about speculating where Harbaugh will end up, what makes this one different is this guy straight up calls us the "biggest losers in America". A few bad apples decided to lash out at him on Twitter for thinking he'll stay in the NFL. He says he receieved "close to 100 tweets", there are easily over a million Michigan fans, way to lump the 0.1% with the rest of the fans.

Who cares about this guy? Every sportswriter and public figure gets shitty tweets and emails from degenerate people. Dude needs to get over himself and the people sending those messages need to get a life.

Greg Gabriel. First, no clicks for trolls from me. Second, someone posted a link to an amusing list of past Gabriel cc pronouncements yesterday, and that is all I need to hear from GG. I have no idea how to dig up past MGoBoard posts (search came up empty), or I would re-post it. A dig at Gabriel is better than an actual post by Gabriel.

As a Giants fan, I hate him more for being a scout for the team after their first two super bowls, which saw some of the worst drafts in the history of the league. He can go blow himself.

Oh no, random people were mean to me on the twitter! Worst fans evar! Sad thing is that he even acknowledges that it is a very small part of the fan base but that he's still going to generalize about all the fans. Pretty pathetic.

You get 100 bad tweets and you say the school is full of losers and done with the school?

Not sure if he has ever had issues with "NathioalFootballPost" management/administration? Is he going to forfeit all his paychecks?

What is National Football Post?  Sounds like this loser couldn't get a job at a real "sports news" outlet.  Seriously though, I had friends in college who just submitted articles for free to outlets like that to say they've been published... and he considers that his real job.

Oh my, he also "writes" for Huffington Post and BleacherReport.  Hahahaha.

There are over zealous fan in every fan base.  Most don't want to hear that their #1 option is unobtainable when it comes to a coach.  The fact that we could possibly secure Coach Harbaughs services means they were in fact wrong in their intial assesment when they said no way is he leaving the NFL.  Can UM fans be dicks?  Absolutly.  Did they go too far in blasting this guy.  Probably.  Don't think we corner the market on misguided passion though.
