Wrestling news, and my sad attempt at blogging

Submitted by tricks574 on
So, I started a blog about Michigan Wrestling, and feel like I've got enough content, a whole two posts up, to unviel it to the veiwing public here. Sadly, I've got to do it on a down note that also makes part of my first real post null and void. In sad news, that is nowhere near breaking, but has just come to my attention, Uber-recruit Eric Grajales has a torn ACL that will likely mean a RS for him this year. Apparantly he has been wrestling on this his entire undefeated senior year, sort of like Ty Todd last year. The difference being Todd was wrestling college kids and could have used his ACL more than Grajales, who was wrestling high school kids in Florida. Anyway, you can find the blog at www.get2formaizenblue.blogspot.com. There are links there to follow me on Twitter, which I'll try to update with any commitments or semi-breaking news, hopefully things that I get to earlier than 3 months after it happens. Hopefully I can fill the seemingly empty niche that is Michigan centric college wrestling blogging.

in 1997, living on the 4th floor of Rumsey House (West Quad), and my neigbors were two twin wrestlers, both about 4'10'', with psuedo ZZ Top beards. Their wrestling friends would always end up in our hall, and hilarity would typically ensue, usually surrounding the two wee ones wrestling in the confines of the corridor after downing a few beers. I almost felt like I should pay for admission, but then I realized that I had already paid approximately $4,000 for room and board that year, and that a portion of it was most likely allocated by the university to cover the midget wrestling.
