maybe I will go out and shovel the driveway.
January 12th, 2018 at 10:12 PM ^
Maybe you should hire a wrestler to shovel it for you. Wouldn't want you getting tuckered out lil guy

Not only is PSU a great team, they are a bad matchup for Michigan. Everywhere Michigan is real good, Penn State has a returning national champ. Michigan is wrestling well, just not a good match up.

They are going hard, but this matchup is brutal.
January 12th, 2018 at 10:38 PM ^
To be fair, PSU is a bad matchup for everyone. Half their starting lineup is champs
January 12th, 2018 at 10:58 PM ^
True, but they are weaker at the other five weight classes then they have been in recent years.

PSU only #2? Who is 1? Ohio State? Okla ST? Iowa?
January 12th, 2018 at 10:55 PM ^
OSU has a top 8 wrestler at every weight class.

Does M always wrestle at Criser?
January 12th, 2018 at 11:07 PM ^
Nope, they wrestle at Cliff Keen Arena. It's because they're facing Penn State
January 12th, 2018 at 11:09 PM ^
don't know about now but 15 years ago they would have bigger matches at Crisler bit mostly at Cliff Keen I think.

No, Cliff Keen Arena was created to move Wrestling, Gymnastics and Volleyball out of Crisler.
Wrestling moved out of Yost Field House and into Crisler along with Basketball when the building was opened. Cliff Keen Arena was created in 1989-90 and became the permanent home of the program.
Crisler has been used for occasional meets since, and when the B1G Championships are hosted by U-M, they're always held in Crisler because of the need for multiple mats.
Tonight was the first dual in Crisler since 2006-07.

The team looked good despite the final score. As a former wrestler and an MMA fighter, it was cool to hear them mention jiu jitsu during the broadcast
