Wow, is that Wash receiver going to be OK?

They are not saying much about it right now, but that ending of the ND - Washington was scary for the Washington player trying to catch the pass. He was hit violently while being sandwitched by two ND defenders, and his body kind of froze...like a manequin with arms raised up and legs slightly crossed together. I hope he is OK.

It remindede of the hit on anquan boldin last year, same thing with the arms too classy how NBC was too focused on watching nd sing their gay little song to even mention it too

pan the camera toward where he was laying. Clearly the kid didn't just get up and walk off. Showing the team singing the anthem to ND fans is more important than letting people know whether a player is okay? You could clearly hear the stadium announcers saying something about it in the background, but I guess the game announcers had a different agenda.

NDBC sucks anyway...it wasn't an employee (ND player), so they didn't bother to report on the kid's condition. Tom Hammond can eat a dick.

Just when I thought I couldn't be any more sick of the love affair. Appearantly they didn't care that there were those of us watching that had an interest in that kids' situation and well being. F NDBC and that junk-ass Leprechaun.

Could anyone else make out what the PA announcer was trying to say during the moments after that play? It almost sounded like the PA announcer was pleading for one final play (perhaps due to a helmet-to-helmet flag) though I couldn't quite make it out as NBC had proceeded to congratulating Weis (gotta promote your product.)

If the TV crew actually knew the UW player was seriously hurt (I thought it was obvious on the play itself, especially the replay), then shame on them for shoving this issue aside. I understand playing to your audience and celebrating a ND win, etc. but the kid looked seriously hurt. It seemed like they were intentionally ignoring the player on the field to focus on the celebration/Jake lockers reaction, and I find that sad. Hope the kids all right. Good game, both teams played hard.

Man, imagine that kid's family watching the game on TV and seeing that. And not knowing a damned thing about it. All they knew is that some holy rollers winning a game is more important than a person's health. Imagine the worry for fuck's sake. Holy shit. NBC fucked them over 100%. Or maybe they just figured Touchdown Jesus would lay-on-hands and make it OK. Guess he was too busy bonging beers and slammin' hos in celebration
