The WOW factor lives: Lochdawgg back in the NBA
was doing a little searching to see if any of the thankfully-now-departed a-holes washed up on shore anywhere and lookie what I found-

the beautiful irony of all of this is that DB has a house out in Arizona. They're adjoined at the hip.

Why do I get this image of Hunter slaving away at his laptop living in DB's pool house?
He's probably with DB. He's probably working on something else than his laptop.
Oh I get it, they're having sex.

"I realized that while we had an underutilized portal for a new revenue stream
I just can't complete this thought in good conscience.
That almost sounds like HailAndUnite!
Good for him, I've seen people say nice things about him personally. The NBA is probably where he belongs.
I don't know man... the arrogance of his public comments about how the players don't make Michigan but Michigan makes Michigan makes it hard for me to see any good in this guy. Yes, nobody is greater than the team but the team is made up of people and to single individual people out, negatively, so one can make a point, is classless in my humble opinion.
I honestly felt that comment was his way to get the last word so to say - delusional as it was. Furthermore, he probably believed it which makes you wonder how braindead some of these people we employed were.
He was probably told he was under review by the Hackett, and then once he said that, boom, he was sent packing.
That is the type of person we had working in the AD pre-Hackett.
Smartest guys in the room telling us fans what we want, instead of listening to the fans.
I don't know if it's the whole Dave Brandon/UM experience, or many terrible personal experiences in my career with people in marketing, but I have really grown to hate the words "brand strategy".
Beat me to it... "brand strategy" should go on that list of words every year which shouldn't be used anymore.
My thoughts exactly.Brand strategy? Gag me.
That is a concern - warranted or not - in just about every industry now, and I can speak from personal experience that it gets pushed down to frontline and field employees in a lot of industries because there is an obsession with keeping the message consistent, especially if your company dabbles in multiple fields and is essentially comprised of horizontally integrated groups that only meet at a very high level.
but I need one!
Oh, you are right, there is a cannon in that gif. I was focused on something else.
I thought you were replying to yourself because I thought you were the one who posted the gif.
I guess good luck to him. At least with the NBA, he won't have to deal with stuff like tradition or pissing off the fanbase, as the Suns ownership has been doing that for decades now.
Idiots hire idiots.

Wow, I just realized that the president of my company knows the Lochdawgg...
Going to ask him what he thinks of him tomorrow morning, I'm sure if he asks me why I'm asking, I wont be able to say anything other than "He's an asshole who tried to ruin Michigan culture"

He's a guy who tried to do something most people didn't agree with about Michigan as a sports team. Minor ridicule, fine, but to hope someone never has a job, to wish him ill forever and ever...
He didn't shout gay epithets, he didn't chant a song about hanging blacks, he didn't sexually assault anyone. He didn't reinsert a brain-damaged football player into a game where people violently attack each other, or violate simple conditions as a result of driving drunk potentially endangering people's lives, but Glasgow gets a "man, i hope he learns from this and matures and can come back and help the team" and "at least it happened before the football season."
Ya'll are fucked up with your priorities, god forbid any of you suck at your jobs, but I'm sure you're all special snowflakes at work, and in life.
That said, I'm guessing most people who write more extreme stuff are mainly blowing off steam. I can see people who want the guy out of Michigan, but wouldn't mind him being somewhere else. And truth be told his skill set may be well matched to the NBA.
