Would you rather have Michigan win a National Title in football or basketball?
The title says it all. Which would you rather have happen? I'd say basketball for myself because they've been so close 2 and 3 years ago. Michigan football has been bad while I've been alive (first game I remember watching is 2005 alamo bowl), so it can only go up especially with Harbaugh. Plus, Beilein isn't getting any younger. Go Blue!

Football...because we've been so consistently good for years but only finished climbing the mountain once...and I was 3 so I don't really remember.

Football, no question. Plus if football won the collective celebratory hangover would last through basketball season so those results would be irrelevant

I really couldn't care less who wins the football NC when we don't. I don't think any more of that school. Same with any other title. I don't think that school has more prestige or more tradition, other than what any championship among majorly watched sports brings.
Therefore, it comes down to personal preference for me and I love basketball a bit more.

Not even close. I love BB and would like the BB team to win one as well! No reason we cannot be a double NC team! Most of Bo's season there were just a few plays that have caused a loss and not chance for the NC. Now with the playoff bracket that may expand to 8 teams, Harbaugh will make it to the playoffs most years after year 4!
