WHAT A COMEBACK!
Down big with our backs against the wall in the 7th and we not only fought back to tie it, but took the lead for good. THAT'S WHAT CHAMPIONS DO!
HAIL TO THE VICTORS
...great job, ladies!
I don't know how to embed, but something awesome just happened on Twitter.
After Florida lost on Friday, Missouri's pitcher tweeted: "#2 [seeded Michigan] is next :)"
Sierra Romero just retweeted it, after beating Missouri for the third time this year. SAVAGE. She was waiting for that, love Romo's swag.
S-E-C ya later Mizzou!!!!
I saw it and it glorious.
Romero's twitter is protected, so it's not embeddedable. But oh my God.....
What did it say?
(Or would that be bad form? I dunno!)
Susalla comes up huge! These ladies are so impressive with how they play. Rarely do they make mistakes. They play great defense. They rarely swing at balls outside the strike zone and have a blast playing for each other.
OH YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Keep the Faith!
Let's get that championship!
UM should go in hungry; not over-confident. What a finish!

Your late inning fail was not a good look.
Even my teenagers, who hate softball, were cheering for the Wolverines.
M Go Blue, win the WCWS!
Like to see that comeback with Susalla and Christner in the middle of it. BANG ME and GO BLUE
+1 For the Alumni Band at games. Do any other schools have a band at their softball games?
Very occasionally. Oklahoma sometimes has their student band play when they make the WCWS, but Michigan is the only school with a dedicated band. This was the Alumni Band's 19th season playing for Michigan Softball.
Just one more thing that makes this Michigan of ours a special place.
Come from behind NCAA win I can remember and Ive been around for a LONG time...ANOTHER WCWS!!! We have experience defense and offense and pretty Good pitching...We can WIN THIS!
Where's that Hutchins gopher head gif popping out if the dugout after the ASU win? And don't forget Findley vs UCLA!
I was watching on Gametracker (which is hardly watching)... Just as... Is it possible? Could it happen? Crash.
I checked the evidence of miraculous happenings when I booted back up. I thank you all, because now I can go back to the game thread and live those last few moments with you.
MOAR shots of that big woman in the first row's camel toe please!!
It was like...
...but in shorts.
Wooo...need a cold shower.
What in the hell is wrong with you?
You should have to endure them both in a threesome, just for that question.
Nasty...
That was one hell of a game!
Great comeback. A bit disappointed to see some of the bitching in the other thread, but then again it's message boards about UM sports, so I shouldn't be surprised.
Anyway, on to the series. Still lots of work to be done, but UF being eliminated really opens up the field.
The anti-Flake O'Neill!
Seriously. I'm sick and tired of you calling him out for a mistake he made in a game while his LS got run over illegally.

Agreed, he had such an amazing season other than 1 flukish play. No one is perfect all season long and he came as close as we had to perfect. Maybe if others during that game did more it wouldn't have come down to that.
Couldn't agree more. Definitely the most painful defeat ever, but you can't put it all on a punter who was otherwise fantastic (especially because MSU got a debatable no-call on a penalty on that play).
Our offense settled for field goals three times in that game after productive drives stalled. Even before the botched punt, our offense had fewer touchdowns than MSU's did.
Literally as soon as we had our biggest lead of the game, our defense surrended an 80 yard Touchdown to the MSU fullback.
Even the coaching was not without fault. We shouldn't have had two runners going back when MSU had nobody to return the punt.
The moral of that game was that our offense played good, our defense played good, our coaching was good, and our special teams were good. But not a single part of our team played great and that was enough to keep MSU close enough where something crazy could give them the win.
