Woodley on Scott VanPelt

Submitted by bluesouth on

Lamar Woodley just predicted that Michigan would win the Big Ten this year.  Says that Coach Rod has all the peices in place, he sounds supportive of his former team.

I can't link it as ESPN is blocked at work,.  Catch it on podcast when it's up.

Love me some Woodley

I follow this blog because Brian and the Gang are incredible, but I look at all the topics on the MGoBoard to read all the clever puns.  You guys are amazing.  If only we could have gotten Adrian though approved, we then could be more Witty.

Only at the University of Michigan can you find people so darn intelligent.

Go Blue!

That would be crazy.  I mean, my expectations have been raised - but that high?  At least he's saying good things about the program and not bad (see: Trent, Morgan).  I always liked Woodley - the fact that he's a TOTAL BEAST in the NFL is great, too.

Look at it this way...everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) who does not pay attention to Michigan football thinks we are going to suck this year--worse than last year. Generally, people figure a 5-7 team with pending sanctions for "major violations" can only get worse. The media hasn't exactly helped this perception. We all know that we should see major improvement this year. Even if we don't win the conference, which I now fully expect to do (thank you very much Mr. Woodley for tempering my expectations), we are going to garner a lot of respect this year just because the non-UM expectations for this team are so low. Can't wait to start shocking the world!

I don't share his optimism (at least not to that degree), but it's a refreshing departure from the seemingly unstudied remarks of Messrs. Edwards and (Dhani) Jones.

will be the next pass rushing beast to dominate in the NFL. I can't say I really like the Eagles very much (good luck to Kevin Colb - I think he's gonna tank this year...) However, I will try to watch some games of theirs just to see BG FCKSHTUP. That is all.
