The Wolverine you're most thankful for

Simply put, who is the Wolverine in any sport, that you are most thankful for? (Coaches not included)

I'll have to say Charles Woodson. He's my favorite Michigan athlete of all time, by far.

Favorite player has to be Anthony Carter. He is to this day the best college receiver I have ever seen. His play against Indiana is one of my five favorite sports memories. But my favorite Wolverine, without a doubt, is Bo. He was imperfect (maybe a bit too conservative when he had superior talent, had a temper). But he was passionate. His integrity was unmatched. And he was winner. I am proud that he, more than anyone, is the person people think of when they think of my alma mater.

I loved that guy. Hopefully Meyer can mimic his masterful coaching abilities.

But cereally, as a kid I would've picked Woodson. Now, I'm picking Denard. Not because of the dilithium or statistics, but because he defines how Michigan players should play and act on and off the field. Plus his smile be like dang.

Right now, I'll go  with Denard Robinson, and lately, Fitz is a close second.

Changed the program like no player before or since.

Honorable mention to John Navarre, who stepped up and took four years of undeserved shit that should have been heaped on Drew Henson and the coaching staff that left us with no QB. And somehow also became a decent quarterback against all odds.
