Wolverine Devotee Appreciation/Posbang Thread

Submitted by HelloHeisman91 on

I think we can all agree the Wolverine Devotee has provided loads of stats and general Michigan info to the site.  I know that I enjoy his contributions and am left scratching my head at some of the info he has compiled and shared here.  So here is to you WD, please post in this thread so we can bang you.

And here's hoping he gets to touch a boob this year! I'm serious, he's taking a nice young lady to a game this year. Lets help this kid get some girl action in his life.

I will say this - he has come a long way since the time he took credit for influencing the design of the banners in Crisler.   He's grown up quite a bit in front of our eyes.....

I would say I grew up on here. I joined the site in 2009 at 14 years old with my football career still intact. I've learned so much. Not just about Michigan Athletics from other posters on here, either.

I've definitely grown up. Two years ago I was still really embarrassingly immature in my ways.

I have @MGoFeed on SMS twitter alerts to my phone. Seeing my name stare back at me in a text was rather frightening until I read the whole thing.

I, uh. Thanks! I appreciate the appreciation! There's no place like this site.

When you're 14 or 16 you should be "embarassingly immature".  If you're grown up at that age, life hasn't treated you well.

Congrats on the graduation - will you be attending Michigan in the fall?

that you joined at age 14 with your football career still intact.  Does that mean...no, I don't want to be sent into disillusionment and/or shock...but are you saying, maybe, that you no longer play football.... which in turn means that you're not going to be the next great football walk-on at Michigan?  Please tell me I'm wrong, OK??!   Puleeeze??

I guess if you're saying your football career is no longer "intact", well, at least your virginity is still intact, seeing that prom has come and gone.  Or is it? (after the banging you've gotten in this thread)???

Wolverine Devotee does fill in some of the information gaps on the blog using the impressive wealth of information on Michigan athletics, and he did save many videos from extinction during the last time many sites went on the warpath about copyrighted material, so he's definitely done many constructive things for the site which should be appreciated.

Again, another piece of my past embarrassing immaturity.

There's a reason I didn't reveal my real age for a long time on here.

Ah get born, keep warm Short pants, romance, learn to dance Get dressed, get blessed Try to be a success Please her, please him, buy gifts Don’t steal, don’t lift Twenty years of schoolin’ And they put you on the day shift Look out kid They keep it all hid Better jump down a manhole Light yourself a candle Don’t wear sandals Try to avoid the scandals Don’t wanna be a bum You better chew gum The pump don’t work ’Cause the vandals took the handles

can someone neg such great Dylan lyrics?  Especially when filled with such great advice for Wolv Devo.

But negging ?  Not unless they're mad you didn't include

"...you don't need a Weather Man to know which way the wind blows.".

Well, I gave you a +1 here and a few other posts to make up for the idiotic drive-by neghead.

so I'm definitely not trying to be preachy or anything but you were in perma-bolivian until Brian restored you (you might have seen his comment which was something like "hope there isn't an expiration date on the negs" with his infusion of points) and since then you've been nothing but a great poster to have around. As far as I'm concerned not repeating mistakes is basically what maturity is. Well done and +1.
