WBB is playing Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg in the quarterfinals of the WNIT.  There is live audio on mgoblue.com.  The only video is on a subscription service through the Southern Miss website.

A win will launch us into the final four.  Go Blue!!

We're up 12-7 at the second media tme out.  So far a big afternoon for the seniors.  WD's dream girl is 0-3 so far but has an assist.

Two (2) Big Ten Womens Basketball Teams left. Maryland and Michigan. Maryland is a #1 Seed in the Big Dance and we are in the Final Four in the WNIT. Great job ladies.

Although the competition is inferior to most of what they see in the B1G, it's not easy to go on a run in the tournament and the experience will be great for next year atlthough this afternoon was a tribute to the three seniors who scored 40 of the 69 points.

Good chance for another home game this week.  St. Mary's only had 380 at its last home game and UCLA had only 760 at theirs.  We had 1383 at the Mizzou game.

Teams that have the best attendance the previous game host the following game if they win. Michigan had over 1300 when they beat Missouri. But they had less attendance than Southern Miss. Since we beat Southern Miss and UCLA/St. Mary's attendance was very poor, Michigan gets to host.

Congratulations to them, and if I am not mistaken, the UCLA-St. Mary's game is in progress right now. As you may know, one of those two will be Michigan's opponent on either Wednesday or Thursday if I remember the bracket correctly. On the other side of the WNIT bracket, West Virginia will face the winner of Middle Tennessee and Temple. The survivors (hopefully Michigan is one), will meet on Saturday in the WNIT championship.
