Huge, huge drive for Nebraska.

I'm up with the night games. You get the right kind of game and it's absolute bedlam. When I did my college football trips ten years ago I deliberately tried to target night games, for the best atmospheres. Worked out pretty well.

You have to admire the love of football that Devin Smith must have. He was playing wide receiver for Ohio in East Lansing not three hours ago, and here is is playing CB for Wisconsin in Lincoln now. Apparently, he also plays for us, although he is not officially on the roster.

With that, Nebraska makes this a two-score game with that TD.

Okay, Ole Miss wearing blue helmets and all grey. They look rather like, er, confederate rebels.

The racial history of SEC schools is unfortunate, but they've moved past that nicely. Still, Ole Miss makes me uncomfortable more than anyone else.

that when the announcers say, "Ohio State had a big big win over Michigan State" it should be mandatory that they also note that they're cheating bastards, and on probation. That fact that your cheating might have something to do with your winning tends to get lost in translation.
