What worries me about this team is we could win the B1G and shit the bed like this in the second round of the tourney.

but Kudos to Wiscy.  They pulled, pushed and generally played their game.  Did a great job getting ball in down low, and keeping the tempo of the game where they wanted it.  They are putting the wheels back on after a tough stretch.  Keep that up and they will be a tough out in the tourney.

MSU is a virtual must win now for any chance at the Big 10 title.  Probably should plan to show up for the first half of that one.

It's not trending well in rematches:  Beat Iowa close, embarrass ourselves in the rematch.  Beat Wisconsin close, embarrass ourselves in the rematch.  Beat sparty close, ??

We're going to squander what had been an incredible 8-0 conference start and those three huge consecutive wins we had earlier on.  I remember people talking about playing with house money after those wins. Well, that money's been spent.  No breathing room left.  Now we either win or say goodbye to any possibility of a Big 10 title.

This team has the ability to make a deep tourney run as is, but I would be very surprised if any of this crew declared for the deepest draft since Bron, Melo, Wade & Bosh... I starting lineup of Walton, Stauskas, LeVert, GR3 & Mitch, with Zac and Spike being instant offense off the bench, should be a virtual lock for a Final Four run next year.

Well at least we can feel good about the team exceeding expectations this year. But they've fallen back to Earth since that crazy first gauntlet. Stauskas has looked mortal, and in general the team has been too inconsistent. Hopefully they can get up for one more game this season and shoot the lights out against State. But unfortunately this will likely be a year that they don't get past the sweet 16. But that's ok, because everyone is coming back next year, plus they'll have Mitch. They should be a force next season.

I thought Walton was solid defensively, but not much going on offense (as was the case for most of the team.)  Irvin... the problem for him is that if his shots aren't falling, he doesn't give us anything else.  He's not anything special defensively, doesn't really rebound, doesn't get to the basket particularly well or set up teammates for open shots.  Either he's hot outside or he's just a body out there.  Not dogging the guy - he's young and has plenty of room to develop.

Wisconsin had 1 turnover and played 2 halfs, not 1.  Credit to them - Kaminski is a tough matchup.  Quick enough to handle typical bigs, long enough to handle 3/4 type guys.

If we didn't turn the ball over and get disappearing acts from Stauskas and Irvin, it might have been a different story.

But we've got a week to prepare for MSU.  I'm certainly not writing that game off.

Out played out coached, lost virtually every loose ball..GR3 in another disappearing act..inconsitency..only LEVERT plays like he wants it

Why do we act so shocked and hurt when someone actually defends us?  It's like we think its not fair and are waiting for the refs to make them quit it.

Refs aren't too blame. Our D league defense, inept shooting from everyone not named Caris and stupid ass turnovers is why we lost. This team just doesn't seem to be mentally ready until 3 minutes left in the first half. They need leadership on the floor.

So muthafut-in annoying.

The game? Yes, that too, but I was talking about CBS and their damn commercials at every play break. Plus I'm streaming, so I get the same 3 commercials every damn time. Almost threw my laptop against the wall during the last timeout.

Coach B will need the full week to get these guys ready for Sparty.  I recommend that he get them ready to start playing sometime in the vicinity of the opening tip.

We've got a full week to do some soul searching.  Beat sparty and win the Big 10, or lose that game and squander the hot start and big road wins we picked up early in conference play.

Stop blaming our guard play. Stauskas, GRIII, Lavert and Walton do a lot for the fact we have no ability to score in the paint.

Do you know how hard it is to make shots consistently with 2 or 3 guys collapsing on you because they have no fear of Morgan or Horford being able to do a little thing such as catch the ball and make a layup

These two are just not Big Ten caliber starters. They hustle and play extremely hard but are a liability on both ends of the floor most of the time as to why beilein is forced to play a 4 guard lineup often.

With Mcgary teams had to respect his ability around the basket and couldnt jailbreak to close out on Stauskas off the pick and roll.

It is what it is, until Michigan gets a competant low post presence we will see inconsistent games like this when the shots arent falling

We need some dogs on this team. The Boys showed heart coming back but didn't deserve the W. We make Waaaaaaaaaaay too much of a big deal about Nik Stauskas. He continues to show large cracks in his game and is simply a good college player. He needs more time and development before he realizes the NBA dream. This year is really house money when you look at the youth and massive McGary injury. We have played well and will likely finish in the top 2 of the B1G. Next season is an opportunity for Michigan to be a Title Contender. This season is one for developing and building to that point. We lost to a better and tougher team today. We need to remedy our Softness and find a leader. We don't have a leader right now. I'd also like to see a few guys on our bench that I would like to have in a street fight with me at some point....we definitely lack that. This is a strange roster but it's not as bad as today made it seem. One bad game can't define a group. We have an opportunity to bounce back next Sunday. We had better bring some gloves and eat some Wheat ties first. We have got to get tougher and recruit a couple of Dogs.

Listen, if Wisconsin has even 1 NBA talented player on their team, I could agree, but they have no one with a pro basketball future and they made is look like garbage. I know that's been their style since the dawn of the bug people, but we just shit the bed and it was pathetic.

i would rather have levert than a "dog"; a guy that can go off for 20+ pts and carry a team.  mcgary and morgan are clearly tough guys.  bielfeldt too.  this team is still really young, like one of the youngest in the country.  there aren't many freshment "dogs" out there.  plus, we go only 8 deep.  it will be a lot different next year.

this team just doesn't get after it from the opening tip on a consistent basis; youth.  but i expect they will come tourny time.  walton and irvin stunk up the joint today, but their confidence and game have improved a lot this past month.  and i expect it to improve more this next month.

Dogs that come to mind....Novak...Webber...Howard...Baston...Taylor...Traylor....Sims...Rose...Harris...Morris...Burke...Hardaway...McGary. Guys that will step the F**k up and not wilt under the conditions. Guys that will talk trash...bully when necessary and get dirty when it's time to get dirty. We need to recruit more of them.

Purdue is garbage. If Wisconsin gets to the Sweet 16 I will change my tune, but otherwise I don't see any NBA talent on that team nor do I see them getting past the first weekend of the tournament. That is pretty mediocre.
