The game announcers are feeling relieved. That name could have been a tongue twister.

The parents were spared. "My son isn't playing today because his ... well ... his THING was bulging and the medical staff was unable to shrink it before the game started."

Me, I'm okay with his absence.

1. That was great.  Upvote for you.  I miss funny Adam Sandler.

2. Do you see any irony at all in this post?  Last week you were apoplectic over me saying I wasnt sad that one of the PSU LBs wouldnt be playing because he was injured and this week you make a joke (a funny one I might add) over a Wisconsin player being out.

The joke isn't about the kid being hurt--it's about his pretty amazing name. And it does not celebrate his injury--it's always a bad thing when a player gets hurt.

Your glee over the injury of a Penn State player was in the context of your inability to see past the Jerry Sandusky scandal. You called him a "miserable fuck" and said that he may be a great kid, but you're glad he's out.

So, yes, there's a difference.

Things change very quikly on this board which keeps it interesting.

At the beginning of the Hoke's last seaon I made a joke about him not being of the highest mental capacity and got blasted for it.

6 weeks later I made a very similar joke and was upvoted like crazy.

If I was Wisconsin, I wouldn't be worried as long as the punter is healthy. Chances are they're not going to get many chances to kick FGs or extra points this Saturday.

I remember one of their defensive players (Musso, the one with the scoop and score) was injured in the second half. Any word about him? I looked yesterday but could not find anything.

We just had someone at work come back from treatment for a bulging disk which required a laminotomy, so they can definitely be inconveniencing and painful. Hopefully, he can eventually find his way back to the field, and this sort of answers the question I had in their game last week as to why they never kicked a field goal.

As long as his replacement doesn't double as a 275# NT that Tee's off on our All-Americans in kick return I'm good with this....
I mean, I wish the lad wasn't injured at all....but, ya know...it sounds like a little surgery and he'll be back just as strong for next year!

In what may end up being a real sloppy game, could turn out being a great advantage to Mich. Although our FG kicking hasnt been great either. Speedy recovery to the young man!

That Bucky board is an entertaining read...they play the disrepekt card as hard as sharty. So funny how they think they dominated MSU last week vs state handing them the game with 4(basically 5) turnovers/short fields and they still were out gained by state.
