The Winston "it was just one unlucky punch" theory = FAIL
The other victim of the FIRST Winston RAMPAGE has come out -

Apparently he was punched and had his jaw fractured and wired for 6 weeks. So much for the "it's was the stupid curb's fault, and some bad luck".
It wasn't one unlucky punch in a scuffle. It was multiple people attacked and seriously injured. Certainly makes the judgement to bring him back look even more suspect.

Apparently, Jenrette was arrested twice, once in 2005 and once in 2008, for attempted burglary. His mysterious redshirt in 2008 for personal reasons was to attend to the court proceedings and first-time offender program following the arrest.

Lovely.

I assume my internet is broken so I need some help. I can't find it on my own so can someone just send me the link of the article Rosenberg wrote on how Dantonio is a win-at-all-costs coach who should have known Jenrette was a thug. Thanks in advance.

loved it.

But no way St. Dantonio would allow this. Why don't you focus your attention on DevilRod referencing a hurricane or something?
December 11th, 2009 at 2:24 PM ^
RR didn't reference a hurricane: he caused it. It was all RR's fault. Saint Dantonio tried to stop it, but even his saintly powers couldn't stop the evil RR from wreaking destruction on the masses.
I know this is true because I read it in the freep.

This sounds about right:
"Dantonio dismissed Jenrette from the team Nov. 24. Dantonio says he enforces a "zero tolerance" policy for any such problems with players, after they have been in trouble a first time."
So, it's zero tolerance.......after the first time, but then he's serious.
December 11th, 2009 at 1:32 PM ^
Wouldn't that mean he has a One Tolerance policy?
December 11th, 2009 at 1:41 PM ^
That is the most inadvertently funny quote I have seen in a while.
December 11th, 2009 at 1:32 PM ^
Does 100% tolerance followed by 0% tolerance equal 50% tolerance?

"Fastest when running between jail and the practice field" Winston.
So, question for the board, with the addition of the WR receiver White being suspended as well for the public urination incident, by the Alamo Bowl, will there be more MSU players suspended from the team or females linked to Tiger Woods?
December 11th, 2009 at 1:46 PM ^
2 of the suspended players haven't been charged if I remember correctly. If there's no charges, Dantonio will have them on the field. There's currently 12 suspended, minus 2 takes us to 10, which I believe is the number currently in Tiger's pride.

...
So far, the university is standing by Dantonio, with President Lou Anna Simon saying she's perhaps more impressed with him now than when she hired him, in the wake of dismissing Winston and another player from the team and suspending 12 football others, over the past three weeks.

i know msu wont make national news for obvious reasons, but come on, the way the media and the msu administration is handling the situation (the president is MORE impressed with dantonio now???!!) is bordering on the level of mental deficiency.

Every time I see a photo of that smug, self-righteous little Rosenberg prick I have bad thoughts.
