Wings Game Parking?

Submitted by UMProud on

Heading down to watch the Wings play Friday...anyone have the 411 on parking?  Thinking about dinner here & riding the shuttle over but open to ideas!  Thanks

Hell is there even parking at the pub on game nights?

Thank you everyone for your advice!

McShanes and Nemo's in Corktown offer parking (usually free street or lot parking) and shuttles, usually. I see lots of wings jerseys in that area for the shuttle or walking over lately.

I've taken the Nemo's shuttle several times to Comerica Park.

Nemo's, just a couple minutes walk from the corner of Michigan and Trumbull, is a fun place to gather and drink before and after Tigers games. Lots of wonderful history in that building, especially Tigers stuff dating back to the start of the franchise.

Never have done that for a Wings or Lions game, but I'm pretty sure it's available.

There is a parking structure 10 steps away from the LCA entrance but it's $40. I just coughed it up because I wanted to get in the place and check it out. Structure entrance is on the Fisher Service Dr.

Off of Woodward in midtown that you can park for free/meters.  North of LCA a block or two.  Safe area and your car will be fine.  Or the casino and shuttle.

Old Shellaleigh is good for drinking, but I wouldn't recommend food there.  If you want a sport bar-type place to get food, go to McShanes in corktown.  They shuttle you to the stadium.  They also have possibly the best wings in metro Detroit, their mac and cheese is unreal, too.

Sweetwater tavern downtown has some good wings, too.  Shit, now I want wings.
