Will the OSU game stay at 12:00?
Sorry, unusual post, but looking for a quick answer: it seems that often game times get changed based upon TV's whims. Currently it's a 12:00 start, and I just discovered an appointment I made a couple months ago for 1:00, which obviously much now change. I would hate to change it to later and then have the game change on the appt that has to be that day.

I would be shocked if the game time was changed. Shocked.

The Game will be 12 this year... Future years? Probably not.
I cannot for the life of me visualize potential top 10 ranked Michigan-OSU games being held at 12 every time in the next decade especially with Harbaugh and Meyer at the helm.

Bo and Woody sure loved those night games.

Bo and Woody probably also loved outhouses, but that doesnt mean I want to poop outside

Some games, like the PSU game, is designated in advance as a game that can be "flexed" within 6 days of it based on the other games also being played that day. Those games are at the network's discretion. Here, the game was already announced as being at noon and there is no changing it now.

I'm on the phone right now getting an answer for you so they can schedule the game in accordance with your schedule. Post your number so I can relay to them and they can call you and sort this all out.

Here's the Penn State Athletic Director. Call him with your schedule, and I'm sure he will rearrange the game around it. Want the game on Sunday? No problem. Night game? You got it.

It was announced it will be at noon. Once there's a definitive announcement it doesn't change without unusual circumstance, like the Maryland game.
November 17th, 2015 at 4:51 PM ^
So you're saying there's a chance?

ALWAYS book appointments before noon on Saturdays during football season #problemsolver

Or don't schedule appointments on Saturdays during football season

NEVER book appointments, regardless of time of day, on Football Saturdays. #majorproblemsolver
November 18th, 2015 at 9:46 AM ^
Don't book appointments at all. Simply show up whenever is convenient for you and instruct the people in question to make it happen.
November 18th, 2015 at 10:49 AM ^
you're right, I'll just conduct all of my business after 6 pm or on Sundays or else not at all between the months of September and December.

The Game will stay at 12. We are not both 11-0, #1 and #2 in the nation going into The Game.
November 17th, 2015 at 4:29 PM ^
It almost certainly will.
It would be one of the most watched events of the year if it was a 8pm night games. Not to mention I think the players actually play better when the games are later in the day.
Makes no sense that it's at noon. None!
November 17th, 2015 at 5:20 PM ^
If it changed it would be to 3:30. I know people still have a hard time believing it, but there are actual rules that state night games have to be announced before the season begins.
November 17th, 2015 at 6:25 PM ^
I also thought the big 10 has rules forbidding night games in November?
November 17th, 2015 at 6:35 PM ^
Nope. Iowa just played one on Saturday.
November 17th, 2015 at 6:39 PM ^
There's already been three November night B1G games this season, Ohio St and Minny, MSU and Nebraska, Iowa and Minny

I don't think an 8pm kick for The Game will ever happen. 330 yes, but not 8. Just too freakin' cold by game end. It would be a public/student safety hazard.
November 17th, 2015 at 8:24 PM ^
The NFL plays night games in January...how would it be a safety hazard?
November 17th, 2015 at 8:53 PM ^
You missed the email from the athletic department. The big ten instituted a new rule for november night games stating that all fans will be physically chained to their seats, stripped ass naked, and forced to eat blue razzberry snow cones for the duration of the game. Had this change not occurred, fans would have had the luxury of dressing appropriately and/or returning to their cars if they found themselves catching a chill.
November 19th, 2015 at 6:33 PM ^
Not competing with other night game rivalries, basically getting the noon slot to themselves, has a lot more to do with it than cold temps. If public safety or ticket holder comfort matters at all, it would be concern over ohio fans trashing our town at night. They're intolerable enough at noon
And before any point out lsu-alabama, yes, but both fan bases are intolerable in that case. There's not much to be trashed in baton rouge or alabama

Makes none cents
November 17th, 2015 at 4:31 PM ^
There's 0% chance it changes. I will drink 2 cups of pure lime juice if it does change to 3:30.
