Will Muschamp Out as Florida HC
FLorida dismissed Will M. So our turn now right?
Meanwhile in college RT @Andy_Staples: http://SI.com has learned that Will Muschamp has been dismissed at Florida. Story upcoming.
[EDIT]: Will may have stepped down (Brandon-style). Regardless, he will not be coaching Florida next season.

Now this is amazing.
Florida will pay about $5,753 A DAY to Will Muschamp for 3 years not to coach the Gators.

I want this not-job to not do anything! I could hang out at Charlie Weis' house too.

Yeah, I really need to monetize my complete inability to coach football.

Well, considering our new temporary AD has exactly as much experience being an AD as the last one did when he was hired, your anxiety is certainly not misplaced.
But I would be very, very surprised if our temporary AD hasn't already put feelers out for a coach.
Moreover, I will be pleasantly surprised if a new experienced AD is hired at all. This program is in misery partly because the last two coaching hires were made by amateur ADs with no previous experience hiring a coach.
Other schools with more successful recent programs have real-deal ADs.
Unfortunately, that is the Michigan difference.

I honestly don't think this affects our coaching search at all.
The guys this board would love to see hired aren't going to Florida for a variety of reasons.

and Florida's fanbase gets to watch Muschamp scream for two more games because he, like Hoke, is coaching out the rest of the season. What's the difference?

The difference is that it's real..UF will need a new coach next year. This gets coaches thinking and agents placing calls.
Currently, it's plausible that Michigan won't.

But that will never happen here. In fact I give Hoke a 30 percent of getting a new contract if he finishes 1-1 in his last two games. If Hoke goes 2-0, he will be a shoe in at 70 percent chance of a new contract! This has me worried. But at least OSU has something to play for!

Michigan needs to look really hard and make smart decisions, we need a guy who is hungry to win and prove himself, we dont need to get a guy who wins because his paycheck says so. Also as most of us agree we also dont need the michigan man bullshit again.
There are a lot of good coordinaters who show head coach like skills and there are plenty of Div 2 coaches whomwould love to get a chance and work their ass off to prove they belong with the big boys, we just need "that" one coach. With the resources and recruiting we get it should not be hard to have a winning program again as long as the coach is smart and creative.

Sometimes you hire a guy who already has shown he is good and he is... good. No guessing or hoping.

Good point...Saban didn't exactly set the world on fire at MSU. Dantonio has done much more there than Saban.

Sources told me Dan Mullen & Rich Rod will not be among those considered to replace Muschamp
