Will away game tix be going on sale?

Submitted by rb4kb8 on
To the "general public". I have bought seats to away games through the UM website in past years, but I can't remember if it was a different on-sale date from home games.

The spreadsheet doesn't have much. The one selling @psu already sold his. I was able to buy UConn tix through Stubhub... Still looking for PSU.

Donors were offered UCONN, PSU, NW, IOWA back in May.  The highest level of donors were also offered MSU.  I know UCONN and PSU sold out the allotment already.  I am not sure about NW and IOWA.  I would imagine those are sold out too if they have yet to be offered for public sale.  You could call the ticket office to ask about NW and Iowa.  I am pretty sure that NW and Iowa may be selling single game tickets for Michigan on their respective web sites.

I heard they were sold out through the M office, but you could purchase them through the other school's ticket office.

If TicketCity has anything to say about it, there are still a decent number of tickets left at Kinnick for our game. Actually, if you go to the Iowa football site, their guide will tell you by section and seat what is still available through an interactive diagram of each section of the stadium. Pretty neat really.

Anyone familiar enough with Ryan field to know where the visitors section is?  I'm thinking about getting some tix online and wanted to be near other UM fans instead of on an island in the middle of a sea of purple...despite the fact I know that there's usually plenty of UM fans in attendance, pseudo-home game.

Is primarily the visitors area. Where the main block of M fans will be are horrible seats in the NE corner. The lower rows are the worst as you have to contend with walking folks in front of you getting to their seats.

I suggest the SE or SW areas as more conducive. The larger west side is mostly purple. The NW corner is the student section (aptly so, I suppose).

Despite the early reports that UConn would only be selling Michigan tickets in season ticket packages and to season ticket holders, they're now selling three-game packages that include the Michigan game for $120. I just checked and there are still some available.  These are upper endzone tickets only.

On stubhub, the cheapest tickets (for Michigan game alone) at the moment are around $130.  The sideline tickets are going for about $600 at the high end.

When I spoke to the UConn ticket office, they told me single-game tickets are going on sale around Aug. 7 for all games except Michigan, and Michigan single-game tickets would go on sale the following week (estimated).  But they noted that Michigan tickets will go on sale to season ticket holders first (not sure if they'll ever make it to the general public).

Seems like Uconn is doing a good job of getting the tickets into UConn hands first, and thus passing the consumer surplus to UConn people.  The exception appears to be these $120 packages.
