Wikipedia ND Michigan Rivalry - Creative edits by ND fans
I just noticed that some likely ND grad who edits wikipedia made an inaccurate reference in Wikipedia for the Michigan ND rivalry. It says:
"Michigan backed out of the series for the 2018 and 2019 football season. Notre Dame decided to cancel the 2015 through 2017 games. Possible games for 2020 are yet to be determined.[2]"
We of course know that that's not true. In fact the footnote (2) is a Mgoblue.com article that says both teams decided to cancel the 2018 and 2019 games.
So MGoWikipedia users, please stay on this and keep this up to date with the required references:
"Both teams cancelled the 2018, 2019 games and ND CHICKENED out of 2015 - 2017."

Less than 17 hours to kick off and I award you 1,000,000 Mgopoints.
Perfect response.
Spend the points wisely (avoid Rick's).

Either it's past your bed time young man or you need a lesson in time zones. Not everyone lives in Michigan at EST.

My favorite XKCD post is also the most appropriate response to a post like this.
+ Eleventy-billion MGoPoints.

But...But...I has citations to it. And everyone reviews it. Doesn't that make it peer-reviewed?

Well this seemed like perfect fare for the MGo community. Take that for what it is. We have a ND rivalry coming up and "chicken" is the theme of the game. Personally I just passed it along...but I don't edit Wikipedia.

A couple years ago MGoBlog did a similar Wikipedia troll on the Ray Guy Award page, editing the first sentence to "The Ray Guy Award is presented annually to college football's top punter not named Zoltan Mesko...". It stayed up for a few weeks, along with records that Brian Cook won the award in 1999, a year before the award even existed.
Despite the holier-than-thou attitude that some may show, MGoBlog hasn't always been above such deeds.
