If Mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy. I didn't tell her it was a bye week, just volunteered to work on my honey-do list. So far I've bought and hung mini-blinds, leveled the washing machine, fixed her laptop, and cleaned the bathroom. Not sure I can keep this up for the rest of the day.

I ran the Free Press 5k and am eating at a vegan restaurant I've been wanting to try, while the husband takes our son to get a haircut. Later we have a neighborhood chili cook-off. Bye weeks can be fun for everyone!

Been in the car with the wife a baby, 2 yr old and a 4 yr old last night and this morning headed to Disney. Wish me luck.

My wonderful wife is in Boston presenting for work. So, I'm in the garage making sawdust on my CNC machine. Later there will be a little work on the beehives, school with the chil'rens, fam dinner and trip to city orchestra with my oldest daughter. No stress of watching mich ball? I'll miss the players but not the stress.

Who shit in Voltron's coffee this morning? If you don't like "Wife Day," then don't troll the thread. And today happens to be sweetest day. Which I think is the stupidest holiday ever created. But on a bye week I can do Wife Day and sweetest day together and look like the nicest guy ever. High fives around!!

Took my daughter for a voice lesson with one of the professors. Getting her ready for her pre-screens and auditions later this winter.

I let her have sex with me this morning and she went back to sleep after. She's a lucky lady!

Heading to the gf's family place in the mountainss for some tennis, wine, and euchre. Yep!

Maybe Hobby Lobby....I DONT KNOW! I DONT KNOW IF WE'LL HAVE ENOUGH TIME!!!

Take a break from whatever you're doing to make your wife happy today, pull a coin out of your pocket and flip it. The chances that you will still be married by the time you're 50 are not much better than that. Enjoy it while it lasts, have fun raising the kids, and I hope you're emotionally and financially prepared for when it falls apart. 

While my lovely GF is working a weekend shift as a nurse, I'll be reinforcing a sagging joist and rebuilding the basement stairs in the old tudor pile of bricks we bought, and smiling in anticipation of stepping into the new steam shower with her after her shift. The simple pleasures of having children old enough to basically take care of themselves and an ex-wife who is a distant speck in the rear-view mirror.

Working as usual ending up in Greenville. I can't avoid this place. Whatever. I'm off for the rest of the month starting Monday. The lady and I will be in Punta Cana than we get back Friday. Taking my nephew who doesn't have his father in his life anymore to the Sparty game, he's a big state fan, I play father older role model figure in his life. Even though we're gonna get crushed I'm pumped to bring him to his first ever game there. Then we go Miami and Vail ( actually Avon ) to get the ski house prepped and take some things out there.

I just got out of bed (11:45 CDT).  I stayed up until 4:00am working on a project due Monday, because I had spent four hours Friday afternoon installing a new hot water heater.  Living in an old farm house has its pro's and con's.

it's time to wash up and take the familiy out to lunch. Beautiful day to take my brand new DGM 15 Rex(wrx) for a cruise around the Fairhope pier and duck loop! Life is good.

Nothing like spending an hour of your Saturday on the phone with Comcast because they magically decided to change your bill.
