I am finishing up my latest invention. I just need to make a deal with the Libyans for some Plutonium. Don't tell them I am pulling a bait switch with some used pinball parts.

I'm playing in her work's annual soccer tournament for her department.

Then Sunday I'm playing another game.

Other than that, anything she wants, thinking she'll do work/take it easy after the 1400 miles to the Northwestern game and 2 weddings in the last 3 weekends.

I despise that, too. The smell and mess are a bad combination. I also suck at painting. I thought it would be easy, but it's difficult to (for me) to make it even. There are always bubbles/streaks I see after it dries. The ceiling I painted in my theatre room looks so bad, but thankfully it can barely be seen. It can only be seen when the shades are open and the sun is shining right through, but I have light-blocking shades down most of the time, so it is not a big deal.

This is my non-emotionally invested Saturday. Of course I will fuck it up by betting on the games and dropping $100 into FanDuel on a bunch of guys from East Carolina, Temple and what ever B12 team is dropping 70 points on Rice.

I really wish there was some way I could transfer my love of Michigan football to all your wives. This Saturday, I'll be at my daughter's softball tournament, just glad that I don't have to choose between that and a Michigan game. I don't know who would win.

My wife's birthday is Wednesday so she's well aware of the bye week ("Wife Day"). Sounds like we're going to take the dog and go hiking. Probably to Boone or Lake Lure, NC. Budget is tight, so I'm at least confident there won't be any shopping going on.

I love hiking and wish I lived near mountains, preferably The Rockies. Other than Michigan wins, there is nothing more beautiful on the planet than mountains. It's just so damn peaceful in them.

My wife will be out of town. Just me, the three year old, and the dog. We'll probably practice his bike riding and go pick out a pumpkin for halloween.

Really looking forward to Michigan unloading on Minny on October 31.

Day trip to go hiking on the Shawangunk Ridge. Depending on the weather, I may bike up there really early and have her meet me for hiking.

Wife day 2015 will actually be "Me day" this year.  I'm celebrating my 30th this week and as such, this Saturday will be dedicated to what I want to do.  I'm thinking of simply going to lunch at Tony Packo's and then spending a few hours at Hollywood Casino.  Sounds pretty lame, but I'll take it.

I guess my twins are spending the day and night with grandma and grandpa. So the wife has arraigned a date night which actually is long overdue. This is only their second sleepover so it can all come crashing down without notice at any time. Probably will try to watch the BGSU game in earlier in the day to get my football fix.

When buying gifts, always get your wife and girlfriend the exact same thing. Sure, you'll get some funny looks at Victoria's Secret buying the same thing in two different sizes, but it'll save your ass eventually.

Nothing worse than asking your wife why she never wears those nice emerald earrings you bought her, and her not knowing wtf you're talking about.

Pumkin patch, build a loft bed for the boy, transform a planter box into a greenhouse box with bench. Or, sit around drinking apple cider and watching football while making it look like I am doing these other things.

Expertly timed mini-vacation to Anna Maria Island, Florida Wednesday-Sunday with just my wife and me.  First time away from our 1 year old daughter as grandma & grandpa watch her for a few days.

Michigan will gain another commit in the next few days. Class of 2032?

My wife and I are expecting our first child in the next 7 days. Her due date is Wednesday, but ya never know.

Our 'wife day' is going to be a bit different this year.

first game at 10, then 1, then at 4.

every day is wife day and mine is just about capable of walking on water.  if she wants something she gets it.  she is the greatest and its my pleasure to try and fulfill her requets, modest as they are.

I've been married for almost 25 years (?!?!???!??!??)

My wife would prefer that the game kept me occupied and not trying to do crazy shit like climbing on the roof, trying to figure out the power washer or brewing another batch homebeer.

Work and pick my parents up from the airport. Think the wife n kids are going to the pumpkin farm while I'm at work. Should be a peaceful boring Saturday then.
Thankfully there's the U.S. GP this weekend in Texas.
