Why is the official Sugar Bowl apparel made by NIKE?

Definitely not complaining.  I loved when we were with Nike; just wondering why that awesome "Pour Some Sugar on Me" shirt is made by Nike.

Thanks in advance

they are either the apparel sponsor of the BCS and/or The Sugar Bowl, and thus get rights to the official championship apparel, regardless of team.

Becuase Nike has a BCS contract? All other BCS winners have had identical shirts with different phrases. Last night Ok State had the same grey shirts that said, "Nacho Victory" and Oregon's said, "Rose to Power." They are referencing the bowl's name.

Im definitely ordering the Nike one.  It's been too long since I've gotten to wear Michigan Nike stuff.  I take that back, I have a pair of fab 5 basketball shorts.  It's been too long since I've gotten to wear NEW Michigan Nike gear.  Thanks for the answers, and GO BLUE!!!!

Why is this even a question? I feel like someone just bamboozled me. Why shouldn't they be made by NIKE? Wait, did I just fall into the trap? Dammit. Bedtime.

F Nike and Oregon, Adidas is our sponsor. Those Michigan gloves are tight. Chrome helmets are another Oregon uniform advantage 'shiny helmets in the sun.' They say its fashion I say its bullshit.

It is very important to have proper dress code in every occasion. Your personality depends the way you dress. If you have ever wondered about the origin of some of the popular fashion club, high school would probably be the most appropriate place to look.
