as I type this, the banner add is for a life insurer (AccuQuote). The tag line is "If you died today..." as somebody weeps over a grave stone.

I blocked them a while ago when they were being particularly obnoxious. I would prefer to leave them on (Brian's gotta pay the rent), but I have my limits.
