Anyone else up for some sourdough-risen cheesy garlic monkey bread??
that is nice bonus change
I did... Lots of Paula Dean pictures.
and decided to reply to the 1st one to the OP....maybe because you have the munchies, it's natural
But that's just my opinion
is going on with the site???
Savory monkey bread? Not for me.
That was one of the more bizarre experiences while getting on MGoBlog. I love food, as you can tell if you know me, but that was unexpected.
it didn't look like it was cooked all the way kind of doughy in the middle. I would still eat it though.
iPhone app seems broken but that monkey bread looked good
Thought it was just me. Had to clear the cookies.....mmmm, cookies. Brb.
Now I'm craving something that is sour, salty, bitter, and sweet. Strange.
I'm hungry for more commits. Since commits come in pairs, who's next?
The muchies and forgot to label your post OT. That's what the hunger is.
EDIT: I was not redirected anywhere. I Was just given a bad gateway error. I guess I am apologizing because the post is definitely not OT.
On a side note, I made one of those monkey breads for Superbowl, my advice is to triple the meat and cheese portions. They are delicious and fun.
Hank Hill, you always manage to post right in line with your character. Again, I can easily imagine Hank Hill whipping up some BBQ on the grill and some triple loaded meat and cheese monkey bread.
After reading your comment Kass, I went back and read Hank Hill's in the characters voice, and it fit shockingly well.
every time I read something from Mr. Lahey. I think it's the point, but I am glad I can pull it out so effectively.
"Propane and propane accessories"
I just had chick-fi-la. However, I feel bad due to their political leanings. Chick-fi-la is like crack.
I could go for some food after seeing all that buttery goodness
If the site is gonna redirect to something, HD food isn't a bad option. Could use drink pairings though...
I didn't get redirected to shit, and yeah, I'm kinda pissed off about it too.
All you need to know...
I guess Denard did the We Hungry Eating Motion one time too many this year...
Made with real monkeys? I hear that looking at pictures of Paula Dean naked automatically gives you diabetes.
"Sour salty bitter sweet" paid Brian $1 per redirected hit, and he jumped on it!
has "Sour Salty Bitter Sweet" always been linked in the "MGoElsewhere" sidebar? or did that just happen.
It's Brian's wife's blog. He's mentioned it before. I'm guessing they use the same host and while he was messing with mgoblog he accidently switched the domain to redirect.
Damn, if thats true...Brian must eat like a king everyday! Some of those recipes looked amazing!
At the very bottom of the links at soursaltybittersweet is a link to mgoblog. With no commentary. Very subtle, but both sites link to the other.
Somebody is very, very jealous of our recent recruiting success.
Sounds like someone ate too much bitter monkey bread.
I was just on a Spartans blog watching the meltdown continue and there was a post started about who hacked mgoblog and had it send all of us to that monkey bread website. I was reading some of the responses and one guy wrote in there "it couldn't be one of us. After all they are always saying how Sparty doesn't know how to read or right". The next guy then posted "um, I think you mean write, not right". Thought I'd share that with everyone. I actually laughed out loud when I read that.
Gues you're right.
Edit- Sparty troll comments were removed.
While I generally don't like to dwell on Sparty-related issues/reactions, I'd like to check it out myself. That's too good to pass up.
Quite a wife, that Margot. Multi-talented. Glad to provide the link you asked for.
While I do greatly appreciate the monkey bread recipe, I was hoping to check out some Sparty schadenfreude first-hand.
Not sure how to link from my iPhone (just got it). But it was on spartantailgate.com under a post titled Who hacked mgoblog
When I see Garlic bread, I suspect Dave Brandon and Dominos must nefariously be involved.
Actually, it explains Brian's antipathy towards DB. Think about it . . . if your wife regularly whips up a batch of savory garlic cheesy monkey bread, why of course Dave Brandon and Dominos Pizza suffer greatly and seem pretty lame in comparison.
I think it's kyooooot how MGoWife (who's very pretty in addition to being obviously smart) links MGoBlog as "Bunblog" on her page. :) My g/f sometimes calls me "bun" as term of endearment
MGoBlog redirects to wife's blog;
Wife's blog links back with "Bunblog";
Wife's blog is a cooking blog;
Cooking... oven.... Bunblog;
Bun in the Oven
OMG Brian is going to be a father!!!
Without a doubt, one of the greatest episodes of south park
Interesting to look around the site
I noticed absolutely nothing with a maize and blue motif in the house.
Also, in the site index, there was nothing about football, Brian, tailgating, bratwurst, etc., etc. There is a section on hors d'oeuvres, but these look too nice and delicate for a tailgate party.
Upon reflection, I suspect that many mgowives observe from a distance with bemused tolerance their spouses addiction with all things Michigan sports related. It probably would be too weird if the mgowife loved Michigan sports as much as Brian.
My wife tends to roll her eyes quite a bit at my Michigan football obsession.
This past fall she was flying home the night of the Notre Dame game. I made her wait at the airport until it was over before I went to pick her up. Bless her pea-pickin' heart ... she knew how important watching the game was for me, so she offered no complaints whatever.
I spent the entire drive home from the airport chattering away about that game. :-)
How is this not off topic???? also this made me dumber just by seeing it
You know what. I am so sick and tired of the entitled whiney babies on here that bitch about spelling, grammar, and tagging off topic post. Fergodsakes, we are post 2010 where broadband access is pretty much universally available. I don't feel sorry you clicked on a post that is off topic and wasted 15 seconds of your life.
Don't get me started on the Brian slappies that downvote any post that goes against his so glorious opinion.
1 100% agree with you. Common everybody...let's all go to Professor X's website and post there instead.
Um......i guess i need your URL Prof......
I have a pedagogical theory blog.
Yes, you read that correctly.
1. Get some pizza dough (or make it yourself)
2. Layer with precooked bacon crumbles, chopped up fried chicken strips, and then cover with grated cheese (any type, but cheddar is particularly good)
3. Roll up and bake.
Brian, your wife's food looks tremendous. In all seriousness, I am going to use some of those recipes.
