Who's your Hail Mary Recruit?

If there was going to be one "shocker, out of left field" pick up on signing day, what would your guess be? No basis for your wild ass guess needed, just fun on this one...

There always seems to be one...

My 1%'er is Deanthony Arnett:

  • Michigan guy growing up but wanted a pro offense (we got one of those now)
  • He seems to have a flair for the dramatic
  • Dooley was on an in-home with him right after Hoke was hire, so maybe an opening?

Definitely 1 in a million, but you're saying there's a chance...

I have a sick wish of zettel coming back on board but chances of that are about  .0000000000000000001% IMHO

Just felt like looking at his facebook profile for old times sake, and while he is 100% auburn, it was nice to see his most recent status saying "yes michigan state lost to big blue!!!" of course he had to end it with "WAR EAGLE" ..

My dad played for Woody Hayes, and therefore I am a Michigan fan.

I think it would be some awesome shit if Chris Barnett committed.  With the new offense, TE is going to be important, and a guy as talented as Barnett could find himself in the rotation as a freshman.  I think it's a bit of a longshot but would be huge.

I would also say Darian Cooper, but with the good vibes from GM's in-home, I'm starting to feel this wouldn't be a "Hail Mary" pick up.

Agreed, I think Cooper is pretty much a done deal this weekend. I think we get Clark and Willingham but my hope is we get Barnett and Fisher. Barnett I think may be the longer shot but would be a solid pickup. Having a 4* TE at 6'6" 245 would make a nice target for DRob.
