And is it today?
It has to be Taco. He posted on Twitter his visit was going great.
It would probably come from one of the guys visiting today, leading to choose from the trio of Taco, Butt, and Pocic. Although I am kind of hoping for the longshot of Logan Tuley-Tillman committing to Michigan while at Wisconsin, asking Bielema if "it's a great day to be a Badger fan", and then driving back to Ann Arbor for the game tonight.
Fox, Taco and Butt.
Edit: Probably not today. Recruits come in pairs.
Today is going ridiculously great. Wake up to my acceptance email from UM honors, then 2 quick commits. Then I solidify plans for a ski trip with a friend, we get 2 more commits, and now this? I can't even take it anymore, my goodness.
You need to get your butt to Crisler for the OSU game. You're on a roll now!!!! Help us out!
Have fun with that crap...it is worth it though because you get to register early and stuff like that. You also can override for a bunch of different classes which is really nice.
This might be wrong, but I used honors to enroll early, but then didn't complete all the honors stuff to graduate with honors.
Graduating with honors means that you were accepted to the honors program in your concentration department and wrote an honors thesis. Confusingly, it's a complete separate distinction from being in the LSA Honors Program for your first two years.
Yeah, I used the Honors program to ensure that I got housing on central campus after I procrastinated well past the suggested housing deadline.
I still need to finish my essay... ive been putting it off
unicorns here i come
Congrats man. It's a great day to be a Michigan Wolverine.
as an M gad, I wish I were back in HS, about to attend! Good Luck.
OBVIOUSLY we get 2 commits when you do something. Quick do something fast!
We may not be done for today...
If there is another one I feel like the commits are conspiring against Ace. How can he keep up with all the "hello" posts.
Isn't it obvious?
Everytime someone says that, I get nervous that OhioBlueBlood will respond.
I am in a perpetual state of buckled up.
per the twitters... so...
DGB, Diggs, and Dorsey. BKFinest it.
the next time before they decide to vent about "the sky is falling" the next time we miss out on a prospect on Signing Day. You build the core of your recruiting class before the calendar turns to 2013. The rest is icing on the cake.
All of them. Michigan wiil get every recruit they want by the end of the day and to top it off, Michigan will beat ohio on the basketball court. No but seriously, I think we could be on commit watch with Taco Charlton and Jake Butt and who knows, maybe even more than that, its been a crazy day. Hopefully we can keep the momentum going. GO BLUE!!
Jake " I like big " Butt and I cannot lie
Yea that was corny
Sunny, not cold at all, and commits come in pairs!
would be nice to get Treadwell
I know Chris Fox isn't in AA this weekend but my buddy just texted me and said there is a rumor he is the next commit...Is he just screwing with me or is there any validity to this? I don't even care if he is screwing with me just because I would have never expected getting 4 recruits today.
Stopped by for an official on his way back from #visionquest.
If we get another 4/5* somehow, we gotta call this the fab five someone.
No ifs ands or buts, well maybe a few butt's. BIG ONE'S!
but I think LTT could also commit. Imagine 3 top OL commits in one day!!!
You can't ask someone who watched WCW in the early aughts "Who's Next?"
We all expect to see Bill Goldberg Jackhammer someone.
I remember watching that when I was a kid. I was like "The Giant is going to crush him. The streak ends now!" Then Goldberg kicked out of the chokeslam, and it was all over.
Can we play Bama tomorrow?
Seems like Illinois has much more talent this year than previous years, and that we are targeting ALL of them.
Laquon and Isaac top priority for me.
I agree that Laquon and Issac are top priority as well...I saw Issac on tv when visiting family in the state title game and he is a monster...Over 500 yards in the game and Laquon is the receiver I think we need most with great size/speed....It would be awesome if we got all 5 of the big Illinois guys, even 4 out of 5 would be awesome. I am glad we are recruiting Illinois hard. It is important that Michigan regains control in the Midwest states and Hoke and co. seem to be doing that now
the five big illinois guys (bosch, pocic, treadwell, isaac, and LTT) all train at the same place together. so im hoping now that bosch is committed he works on the other guys and it becomes a domino effect.
Look for Charlton and Butt to commit in the next 24-48 hours.
...not that it was hard. But it was true.
Here's my WAAAY Too Early Commit List
QB: Shane Morris
RB: Ty Issac
RB/FB: Wyatt Shallman
RB/WR: Berkley Edwards
WR: Laquon Treadwell
WR/QB: Amani Bass
TE/H-Back: Khalid Hill
TE: Jake Butt
LT: Ethan Pocic
LG: David Dawson
C: Christopher Fox
RG: Kyle Bosch
RT: Logan Tuley-Tillman
DE: Taco Charlton
DT: Henry Poggi
DT: Eddie Vanderdoes
LB: Ben Gedeon
LB: E.J. Levenberry
LB: Michael McCray
CB: Kendall Fuller
CB: Jourdan Lewis
FS: Su'a Cravens
SS: Dymonte Thomas
I don't know if that's a dream...or a realistically sick class, or both. Thoughts?
i dont think we have a shot at su'a cravens. i dont think we will offer edwards or amani bass either. the o-line is very realistic though. we have a great shot with all of them. kendall fuller might be a bit of a reach too, i think we need an elite corner though. throw in jaron dukes at receiver and jason hatcher at d-end. and we have an elite class that fills all our needs.
What if you replace Edwards with Dukes, Bass with Hatcher and Cravens with Jalyn Powell?
I really think we could use Edwards AND Bass, but we're likely not taking 28 guys, so I can see if they aren't squeezed in. I like both players versatility though. Edwards is a speedster with great genes and can make an impact at RB/WR/KR/PR in a Percy Harvin role. Bass could be some insurance at QB and a good WR. But I'd like him best as a Wildcat QB who can keep parts of the offense that we see with Denard.
