Who is your 2nd favorite team?

Hometown team: University of Vermont! Varsity football team hasn't been defeated since 1974

I was born in Oklahoma and spent the first 12 years of my life there.

East Carolina University... Go Pirates! Did my undergrad there and grad at Michigan. If those two ever meet in football I don't honestly know who I'll root for.

My two favorite teams are Michigan and whoever is playing Ohio State

NCAA Football: Cal, Stanford, UCLA. I'm not old enough to remember Rose Bowl losses to any of them, I can't stand the rest of the Pac-12, the only ACC teams I consider tolerable are lousy, and obviously the SEC and Big 12 are out of the question for football. The California teams not named Trojans are all respectable institutions and programs.

NCAA Basketball: Kansas and North Carolina, pretty much because they're the programs that can tell Sparty to shove it when they go on about how they're the best program in the country. Obviously there's also Duke and Kentucky, but I'm not rooting for them.

NFL: Patriots. And not just because of Brady. When I was a junior in high school in 1998, I'd have to work kind of late on Sunday nights, and I'd always get home just in time to see the fourth quarter of the prime time game. Two or three times that year the Pats had some real barn-burners they came back to win, that just got me rooting for them when not watching the Lions. 

NHL and MLB, it kind of just depends who's left in the playoffs after the Wings or Tigers have been eliminated. Teams I'm guaranteed NEVER to root for include the Blackhawks, Sharks, Blues, Penguins, Blue Jackets, Predators, Ducks, and Stars. I guess if I had to lean toward anyone it would be the Devils, Flyers, and Bruins, don't really know why. In baseball I'll never root for the Yankees, Rangers, Angels, As, White Sox, Braves, or Twins. 

1. UM (obviously) The rest are regional In the South it was Vandy (pre-JF) but more Georgia under Richt as he seems like the sec Lloyd Carr. Don't dislike either. The East Coast is VT but it's falling off lately after Sugar Bowl Beemer comments/fans. The Midwest would be Iowa state. Oddly always root for them when I catch a random game they are in. Don't know why? Bible Belt (deeper old Big 12) would be OKIE ST due to Barry Sanders, not so much now. West coast? UCLA, Cal & Stanford. Unless them losing helps us or we play them, I root for them. ****LET IT BE KNOWN I'M NOT A FAN OF THESE SCHOOLS. I JUST DON'T HATE THEM (if not for Barry, I may dislike osu) AND IF THEY WIN, COOL. IF NOT, COOL.****
